20.01.2022 Today I enjoyed a ride with Pete and Gen from Quinn Family Horsemanship on their amazing horse Ripley while they provided instruction to a client and trained a couple of clients horses. Not only do we have on site training facilities but direct access to some great riding areas in the surrounding national park and state forest. The Quinn’s offer all our agistees a discount on lessons held here.

20.01.2022 We just fitted a custom made storm cover to one of our floats. Made by Kirribee Custom Covers up in QLD. Keeps the horses and gear dry but also Simon's P.A and drums on the way to gigs!! Should they ever start again....

20.01.2022 The sun is shining

18.01.2022 It was all hands on deck here today including the kids and dogs as we stood up the new arena fencing.

16.01.2022 Looking forward to hosting Jamie Murray & the Border Districts Showjumping Club this weekend

16.01.2022 I had an unusual request to hire the arena today.....

16.01.2022 What a great day to play with cows Dimity & I were lucky enough to hang out with Gen & Pete all day today. Dimi has come such a long way, when I first started riding her I couldn’t even get her out of the gate into the paddock, but after a working holiday with Gen, we are now enjoying undulating ground, creeks, mud (her real pet hate) and she can even move cows! So thankful & can’t wait to do more of this! Quinn Family Horsemanship

15.01.2022 After a short break due to the recent wet weather, Rosie has returned to work. She stopped work to pose for this photo but spent the best part of her afternoon making sure Pete has his levels right

13.01.2022 Poppy's enjoying a warm wash in the sunshine!

12.01.2022 Our beautiful Dimity having a sunset sand dance on our new 50x70m arena. The sand was finished today, now for the fencing and landscaping, any cool ideas?

12.01.2022 It’s almost looking like an arena

11.01.2022 I see a lot of ‘for sale’ ads stating the horse is suitable for trail rides and often wonder what they really mean by that. I personally think trail riding, is one of the hardest (but enjoyable) rides. In one ride, we can encounter many different terrains (e.g water, rock, forrest & vast wide open spaces) together with lots of different wildlife (e.g ducks, kangaroos, wallabies, lizards, cows, sheep) and if going via roads, there are cars and bikes as well. Every ride is different, and presents both my horse and I multiple challenges along the way that we have to work through. I agree, to be a ‘trail’ horse, they have to be a pretty remarkable.

07.01.2022 The ground has finally dried out enough so work can begin on our second riding arena. Once finished, it will be 70m X 50m with a similar surface material to our other arena and securely fenced and configured to support both Olympic and Western disciplines.

07.01.2022 Miss Gucci has moved in next door with the Quinn Family for a little while for some extra training. Although she was already amazing from all of Pete & Gen’s work with her since she was started, it was time for our Miss Sassy to have a little tune up & reminder of how things should be done. Her little (but tall) rider is still learning too, so with some extra time on her hands with homeschooling & school holidays it’s been a great opportunity for them both to be able to spend so much time with Pete & Gen so they can learn how to work together. Love the photos Gen Quinn
