13.01.2022 LONG IMPORTANT CAPTION! As a lot of you already know, the whole block where Après Surf lives is due to be demolished and turned into a Woolworths and apartment blocks. We knew we were going to have to move in the near future even before the Corona Virus Pandemic but it’s still Very very sad, It sucks, we had planned on having a big moving party so that everyone who loves the place could come down and have a final farewell in the original spot but obviously that can’t happen w...ith COVID 19. HOWEVER, ITS NOT OVER! because Après Surf has had such an incredibly loyal and supportive group of customers (you guys) and because we can get out of our lease without struggling through this pandemic, we are going to be able to swing the doors open in a new venue as soon as all this blows over. We can’t wait to get back to doing what we do and we hope you will all be there with us again on the other side. BUT THATS NOT ALL! In the meantime we have something in the works with our neighbours and drinking buddies @alfredsapartment you will be hearing more about that very soon! This last 4 and a bit years at Après Surf has been an absolute dream, it hasn’t felt like work. We could not have asked for better, more supportive staff and regular crowd, it blew away any expectations we had coming into this and we want to thank everyone who has come in for a drink or something to eat, anyone who has DJ’d, played in bands, put pieces in the art shows or helped out in any way over the years from the bottom of our hearts. We will be open slinging Parmys and beers tonight (Sunday) for the last time in the original venue, it would be great to see everyone. There is a light that never goes out We Love you all!!!
