25.01.2022 For the first time ever, one of my masterclass groups are all on the same page with a challenge they are facing. At each online accountability meeting, I offer a personal development exercise to work on during the week where normally I tweak the exercise to suit each member. This week, however, they are all working from the same questions for their personal development. This excites me. It's like, even though we are worlds apart, we have in-synced. ... This particular group first met each other in January 2020 at my in-house Vision Board Retreat. They have continued to meet each week online, where I hold space for everyone to manifest the lifestyle they desire. It's a beautiful journey to see everyone grow and evolve, to be there for them as they create their Action PWR Plan and achieve their goals. 22.01.2022 BE CALM IN THE STORM Do this grounding technique with me each morning (before breakfast) and evening (before dinner). It’s called Hugging Tree, a Qi Gong standing meditation to keep you stress-free. Increase the flow of energy and build internal strength. Become resilient! Click here for the video and Subscribe to my channel https://youtu.be/o2V5nzLpkSY Wake up your meridians by tapping, then flush them to prepare yourself for the grounding work.... Stand with your feet shoulder-width, and parallel. Bend your knees just slightly (feeling the backs of the knees as soft and hollow), allowing your weight to sink fully into your feet at the bubbling well the hollow spot center and just below the upper pad area, legs and pelvis are relaxed. Gently roll the knees out a bit without moving the feet. This will tend to lift the arch. Don’t allow the big toes to lose contact with the floor. Then float your hands and elbows up to the level of your heart elbows lower than wrists, palms facing your torso, creating a circle with your arms, with four or five inches between the gently extended fingers of your right & left hands just as though you were indeed hugging a tree. Sink the shoulders down. And then imagine you are hugging that tree, and as you hug the tree you’re also becoming a tree: feel your roots descending, sap being drawn upward through the center of your torso, your arms & legs lengthening, your crown of your head softening to receive sunlight and the energy of the sky from above you. Use inhalation to expand body and exhalation to release unnecessary tension down into the ground using the bones as conduits. Continue to feel your limbs energise, your spine elongate and your muscles relax into the position. Hold for some time. This video runs for 5 minutes. 07.01.2022 During my Eyelash Extensions course over a decade ago, I was told to wear a mask when doing treatments. I would avoid wearing them at work because I knew how damaging they were for my lungs. I would only wear them if I was hungry as I didn't want to spit on my clients face from my mouth salivating for lunch. Hence why now I encourage eating a cooked nutritious breakfast a couple of hours after waking, and again making sure to take a lunch break (away from your desk and phone). There's no need for wearing a mask when doing Eyelash Extensions. I hope my fellow Beauty Therapists catch on too. #healthylungs

07.01.2022 DIVE INTO SOUP This soup can be used as a base for dinner. I’ve created it in alignment to the season of Kapha [ which is Sanskrit for Winter to Early Spring ]. You can add in a handful of cooked lentils or quinoa. I prefer mine without grains or legumes for dinner to aid in better digestion. Slice, dice, chop and peel. Get your veggies ready and throw them in a pot. Top with water till all the veggies are covered. Add in Fennel Seeds and grated Ginger. ... Cook on high till it reaches boiling point and then simmer for 30 minutes.
