25.01.2022 Today our students took time to pause and reflect on the importance of Remembrance Day. At the 11th hour on the 11th day of the 11th month 1918, the guns on the Western Front fell silent after four years of continuous warfare. World War One had come to an end. Students attended a brief commemoration ceremony whilst observing a minute’s silence to remember those who suffered to protect our shores and freedoms. Lest We Forget.

24.01.2022 During Term 4 our Year 7 - 9 students competed in the Inaugural Aquinas House Reading Challenge organised by our Literacy Teacher Mrs Wells. 22.01.2022 Today our Year 7, 8 and 9 students commence their semester exams and NSW State of Origin players, Tiana and Corban took the time to wish them well. Special mention to our Year 7 students who will undertake their first official exam period at the College.

12.01.2022 Every Friday afternoon our senior students take part in their Enlivened Study Approaches (ESA) program. This program endeavours to enrich senior students by providing opportunities that focus not so much 'what' they are studying but 'how' and 'why'. This afternoon our Mathematics staff focused on linking different Mathematical thinking approaches to their upcoming Advanced and Standard Assessment Tasks.

We are proud to announce that Sebastian was the winner of the Most Votes On-line category. 02.01.2022 As we approach the Christmas season Ms Digiorgio and the Aquinas Social Justice Committee (ASJC) have organised two initiatives to ‘Give Back’ to the local community. St Vincent de Paul's "BE AN ANGEL" Each Pastoral class will be assigned a child in need from our local community and purchase a gift to brighten their Christmas. ... TOILETRY GIFT PACKS Students will also have the opportunity to purchase an item for a needy male or female member in our community which will be added to toiletry gift bags for distribution. Finally, from this Thursday the ASJC will be selling individually wrapped chocolates at recess and lunch to further support the St Vincent de Paul's Christmas Appeal.
