25.01.2022 Greetings all, long time no chat! We hope everyone has had a great start to 2019 . We certainly have with a record number of renewals and new applications pouring in during January. We ask people to remain patient as we process these as fast as possible. Now that the reenactment season is about to get into full swing (and for others it's already well into action ) we'll take this short moment to pause and thank all those either returning or coming on board with us for the fir...st time, in 2019. The ARA is now 6 years young , which is another important milestone to reach and 2019 promises to be another big year of consolidation and growth within the ARA. We look forward to working thru another year in our (2nd) 5 year plan and we look forward to servicing your ARA needs over the coming year. Stay safe , have fun and we look forward to catching up with you all during the year!
25.01.2022 A quick note to let everyone know that we have a new secured gateway for the members portal. Please use this link to access your members card and other member specific data. https://reenactors.org.au/portal/
11.01.2022 Your ARA membership ecard and printable card now supports photo ID. It is not a requirement but it is an option for clubs and individuals. The setting can be found in the second menu "Member setup".
07.01.2022 Greetings All After a somewhat sleepy start to the new year we are pleased to announce that all our policies are now in place and 2020 memberships are now officially open. We can see some people have already gotten in early which is great. Prices remain the same as previous years for all types and levels of membership. ... Were are also pleased to report that our recent AGM was again a "no frills" affair with pretty much everybody from last years committee remaining on board , providing another year of long term leadership and stability. As we head into our 8th year , we all look forward to serving our members needs again over the coming year. Finally we sincerely hope that any of our members , families and friends that may be impacted and affected by the terrible fires happening across all the states atm are safe and coping well. Our thoughts are with you all. Regards ARA
03.01.2022 Just a quick message to advise all ARA Members and ARA Group Leaders that an updated Certificate of Currency for Public Liability Insurance is available in the ARA Members portal. http://members.reenactors.org.au/
02.01.2022 The ARA AGM held during the week was again a simple and breezy affair. Details and minutes will be added to the documents section of the portal soon for member viewing. Main items were that all office holders and commitee members were re- elected unapposed and our fees for Broadform liability and Personal injury Insurance fees remain the same for 2021. We also hope to announce some exciting news shortly on some stirling work one of our commitee members has been undertaking ...on prohibited weapons permits during the year , so stay tuned! As we head into our 9th year we certainly hope 2021 will treat all reenactors and the rest of the wider community a little kinder! We look forward to seeing more events , gatherings and activities happening as we hopefully pull out the pandemic. As always the ARA will continue to take care of the backend , to support you , so you can do your hobby and past time your way!
