We look forward to welcoming students back to school on Monday 12th October.... The last day of Term 3 has been one full of activity. Our middle school students enjoyed a 11 km hike around the Apwelantye Trail. The primary school had Paddy the Platypus come and talk to them about staying safe during floods and storms. We dedicated the 77 Samaritan Purse shoeboxes that the College community have filled this year for children overseas. Well done ACC!

07.01.2022 Middle School Assembly Our Middle School students led assembly today. They prayed this beautiful prayer. To our perfect Dad,... Here is our prayer for today; First of all: You deserve all our praise and thanks. This is your place and we are thankful for it! Help us to follow your lead today. Help us to be a school community that shows others what heaven is like. Please forgive us when we do the wrong thing, but help us to forgive too! (We know it is hard!) Help us to choose what is right and good. We love you. Amen. Our Middle School students have been learning to play the ukulele for music this term. They played the songs sung at assembly. They were fantastic!

03.01.2022 The Transition/Year 1 connected unit this term is ‘We like to move it!’ The students are learning about and investigating how our bodies, animals and things move. To finish the day they had a paper plane competition on the oval. There was a prize for the student who displayed ‘The Araluen Way’ throughout the competition, another prize for creative design along with first, second and third for distance.... 02.01.2022 Congratulations to our Middle School team who took part in the First Lego Challenge online today. They won the Breakthrough Award and came second in the NT, in the Robot Game section of the competition. The Breakthrough Award celebrates a team who has made significant progress in their confidence and capability in both the Robot Game and the Innovation Project and are shining examples of excellent Core Values. They demonstrate that they understand that what they discov...er is more important than what they win. The team can’t wait to compete in 2021.

01.01.2022 Today students across the College took part in Jump Rope for Heart. This event raises money for heart research in Australia. Taking part in events such as this is important for us as a College. It models to our students one way we can put our College value of ‘Caring for others’ into action.
