16.01.2022 We made a new friend!!! Such a cutie....Alma Bay was crystal clear and absolutely gorgeous on Saturday morning, and this little colourful little one floated around us for ages. I thought it was a bit of seaweed at first... Happy to admit our ignorance - not sure if it's a baby Cuttlefish, or a baby Squid, maybe someone can ID it for us? Magnetic Island wildlife encounters are always special. So grateful to have had this experience.

12.01.2022 This view ...on the way to the apartment. Whether you hop on the bus, drive, or walk- the scenery on Gabul Way between Nelly and Geoffrey Bay is not to be missed. Although the bus takes us from the Ferry to our doorstep within scant minutes, we often skip it in favour of walking over the hill, because the view deserves to be savoured slowly. Today was perfection.

11.01.2022 If you haven't seen the Blue Tiger Butterfly migration, don't miss out. It's the biggest since 2015. Located at Horseshoe Bay, it's a magical experience our whole family enjoyed, strolling through the forest while thousands of butterflies fluttered around us. This snippet doesn't do it justice.
