25.01.2022 I will be pulling out 3 baby cockatiels on Saturday 2 Lutinos and 1 pied or pearl then this pair will be having a well deserved break until next year

16.01.2022 I decided to pull out the baby Quaker’s today.... it’s way too hot for them in the nest box now. From what I can tell, there are 2 blues (possible splits) an albino or pallidino and 3 greens (I think).

15.01.2022 Oh my goodness Picked these sweethearts up today and I am in love! They are sooooo tiny I haven’t thought of names yet. They are Pacific Parrotlets and I cannot handle how cute they are

15.01.2022 Just an update, those of you waiting for birds, DNA is taking a lot longer than normal I phoned them yesterday and they were supposed to have had my results yesterday afternoon but they didn’t hopefully Monday and I will let you know what I have available and what they are.

14.01.2022 A new flock member is arriving today a little green Quaker hen to partner up to my blue pallidino boy. Aviary is finally set up it was a mission!

14.01.2022 I have finally checked the Quaker boxes! So nerve wracking as they are so very protective and hate being disturbed during season. Merlin & Elsa (blue split lutino x blue pallid) have 3 babies. Will & Kate (green split lutino x albino) also have 3 babies. I am hoping they continue to feed them and that the heat doesn’t knock them around too much. All going well I will be pulling out Merlin & Elsas probably Tuesday or Wednesday. This pic is of Will & Kates babies. I am very excited but at the same time very nervous as lots of things can still go wrong!

13.01.2022 I think Will & Kate (Quaker’s) have some eggs I’ve seen her once today and she’s been in the box with Will keeping look out. So exciting and hoping everything goes well. I will be putting the moustache box in today so hopefully best time of year

09.01.2022 Omg I checked the WF cockatiel box today and I am in love! 4 little cotton balls hopefully will pull them out in another week. Hero and Belle seem to be looking after their babies perfectly so far!

08.01.2022 Such a busy time at the moment. Currently handraising 5 whiteface cockatiel chicks and they are a handful! Their parents are currently on 7 eggs and this will be their last clutch until next year. Sun conures have hatched some chicks and they are due to be pulled out for handraising next week all going well The Quaker’s are busy too as we are just going into Quaker breeding season! Here’s a photo of one the beautiful cockatiel chicks from my wf pair

06.01.2022 My whiteface cockatiels have hatched 4 little babies I lost my last clutch because we had a run of feral cats and the parents abandoned the nest. Hopefully these babies keep going good and I will be pulling them out as soon as I can!

04.01.2022 So in typical me fashion I didn’t pull the babies out today - got too busy however they will be getting pulled out tomorrow as they are almost fully feathered I have 2 lutinos & 1 pearl! Thinking that they are all female but will DNA to make sure. These little ones will be up for adoption once weaned.

03.01.2022 I just realised one the cockatiels in my white face clutch is a different mutation how pretty are those colours I’m thinking it’s whiteface cinnamon but will have to check

01.01.2022 Baby Sun Conures are such funny little characters and so cute! These guys are going to make amazing pets - they are already so sociable Oh and Miss Bailey was feeling a little jealous tonight so she got lots of head scratches! Got to love a fluffy Quaker
