20.01.2022 Your is a sling of muscles that sit at the bottom of your pelvis. Being able to squeeze these muscles is an important part of holding on when you need to go to the toilet. These muscles can be weakened from age, pregnancy, child birth, surgery. It is never too late to start training your pelvic floor. Training doesn't always mean squeezing though. Some people can have problems with having a pelvic floor that is too strong, so in this situation, you will need to learn to relax your pelvic floor rather than squeeze them.
