07.01.2022 STOP PAYING FOR DRAWINGS TWICE!!! Good morning all. We hope this would be of some assistance to someone out there. But the amount of times in recent months that my staff and I have had to fix projects fraught with mistakes is disconcerting. Its quite concerning, when for a 4 townhouse project, the builder rejected the plans because there wasnt enough detail for them to build from.... The problem was that the drafting service just didnt know what they were doing. Or they were forced to do things on a tight budget and just didnt care. Or, they were lazy. Either way, we had houses floating in mid-air from NGL, missing details, wrong details, etc... These arent isolated incidences, as everyone is trying to cut costs to offset the rising costs of everything. But we would implore developers to carefully consider engaging professionals who know what theyre doing. Rather than having to pay for it twice when you need to get us to re-document to fix others mistakes.
