22.01.2022 There are always limitations on design. Planning controls, site size, shape and slope, and building budget all impact on design. While it would be wonderful to be able to design without restrictions, architecture is all about being able to work within these limitations and still design something beautiful. http://architectdesigned.net.au//architecture-quote-of-the

18.01.2022 The 3D render artist has been busy working up our new home designs lately. This one is for a new home at Fitzgibbon Chase in the Brisbane suburb of Fitzgibbon. http://architectdesigned.net.au/2016/06/27/fitzgibbon-house

17.01.2022 Tiny homes feel like they've been around for a while now, but can they really catch on in our suburbs?

17.01.2022 Construction update Construction at Mitchelton continues to progress well. A big milestone was reached with the roof going on recently. 15.01.2022 Set against the backdrop of gold coasts iconic coastal landscape, these apartments has been designed to complement its surrounding built & natural context. The mass of the apartment tower has been reduced on the upper levels, with increased setbacks to remain sympathetic to future adjoining developments. Each facade has been addressed and treated to maximise the level of quality natural light into the internal living and communal spaces. 13.01.2022 Construction update The project at Mitchelton has reached an important milestone. The scaffolding has been removed revealing the external skin clad in COLORBOND Matt. The way this material changes under different lighting conditions is impressive. All structural elements are in place and we are moving towards the finishing and fit-out stages. I'm looking forward to seeing the glass connection between the old and the new take shape. http://architectdesigned.net.au//modern-addition-mitchelt/

13.01.2022 My kids are enjoying sharing a room, despite each having their own bedrooms. My little one, aged two and a half, is now sleeping on a mattress on the floor, until we can come up with another solution, as my older one has a double bed. While his bedroom is spacious, fitting a double and single in the one bedroom is just not practical. [ 478 more words. ] http://architectdesigned.net.au//safe-ceiling-fans-for-bun

An east-west configuration might give you the biggest reduction in your power bills by providing you with solar power when you need it most, before and after work.
