13.01.2022 Finally some good news for 2020!! SSWPA is running a tournament on 19 and 20 December 2020. All day!! The good news is, as a massive thank you for all of your... support, there will be no cost for members that are playing this current season. Other players will pay a small registration fee. Our awesome treasurer Joshua James Sprake has said go for it... let’s goooo... I have secured some funding, a person that does not want to be named, but will be there on the day, so there is no charge to play. Now for the fun part: - the rules will be slightly modified - it will be 5 a side with 3 reserves (can be more but see below) with ‘flying’ substitutes ie no stoppage in play. - after a goal is scored it is play on. - the game will consist of 2 halves. We want to make it a fast, fun, high scoring game!! The smart team wins!! The games will be at Sutherland Leisure Centre and I want to say thank you to SLC for allowing us the pool space. So what do you need to do?? Hold fire but comment below if you are in!! We will open registrations soon. The Divisions will depend on numbers but we are hoping to run: Under 12 Under 14 Open We will limit the number of Metro players per team as we want this to be all inclusive. As such, our regular summer programming will be commencing shortly, with our Summer 2019/20 season starting on Friday 18/Saturday 19 October . That's not very long away!
