22.01.2022 Today is R U OK Day which is about more than one question. It’s about checking in with someone more than once a year. It’s about being prepared when someone says no, I’m not okay.... It’s about looking for the signs that someone might not be okay. It’s about checking in after that initial conversation. And it’s about checking in with yourself and making sure you’re okay too. Let’s normalise these conversations 365 days of the year, not just 1. Post accessed from the Department for Education Facebook page. Learn what to say at www.ruok.org.au/how-to-ask #TheresMoreToSay #RUOKDay #RUOK

18.01.2022 9/10 Visual Artists went on a mini road trip to our future ‘open air’ art studio, where concrete will be our canvas ..where did we go? We looked closely, discussed observations and then allowed this onsite learning to ‘value add’ to our own designs back @ A.A.S in the Creative Studio. Students have accepted an invitation to complete an authentic learning project = using art to transform public spaces and make community connections. We thank Tiddy Widdy Beach Progress Association for inviting us to be involved in their ‘Paint a Pole Community Art Project’. Watch poles 39, 40 & 41 be transformed in the next 3 weeks.
