If you would like to make a booking after this date please let us know so we can book you in. *Thursdays we are unavailable*... If you would like to go on a waiting list for if there is ever a cancellation please let us know also so we can put you on our list. 11.01.2022 "Ngaire, Rose & Annalise" Thankyou so very much for all the wonderful donations you have made to the Ark to help with our ainmals. We also hope you have loved spending your time out here amongst our Rescue animals. We would also like to say thankyou for the beautiful "sunny" (Rooster).... Sunny came into our care due to the restrictions of owning a Rooster in Town which Ngaire, Rose & Annalise were unaware that there sunny wasn't a Hen but was instead a Rooster when he had started Crowing and they had contacted us for help and we were glad to offer our help in taking him in as we are quite aware of the Restrictions on Poultry and we have alot of people come to us for their roosters due to being told the wrong sex, sold as unsexed chick's or bought until they grow older to know what sex they are.

01.01.2022 "Jeffrey & Gloria" Today we said our goodbyes to jeffrey and gloria as they made their way back home again to Magnetic Island safe and sound but not before going on their last adventure together crossing the ocean on a ferry with their owner Toby and settling back in again. It is certainly quiet here without them and we will miss you guys but we are so thrilled to see them going back home again to their owners who missed them and loved them dearly even coming out to see them... and helping them at the Ark. We would also like to thankyou Toby for making a wonderful donation today that will go towards helping all the other animals at the Ark

01.01.2022 "Joshua" Meet Joshua he is our special needs Volunteer and a wonderful guy that doesn't let his disability stop him from doing the things he loves to do. He finds the positivity in every challenge he does and you just may see him geting around the Ark volunteering his time to take care of the animals with me. Joshua and Mel had contacted me a couple of weeks ago to come out for a visit and joshua just loved it here, he loved it so much that in fact he asked if he could volunt...eer here and i said of course you can i have never seen someone so very happy and very eager to start. Since then Joshua has been gaining experience and knowledge learning about the animals and even educating the ones around him with what he has learnt. Joshua is very helpful and will not say no to any jobs he does no matter how messy they can be he is very welcomed and a positive addition to the ark and we are just so glad to have him on-board. So if you see Joshua, Mel & myself geting around the Ark please come over and say hi, im sure joshua would love it.
