18.01.2022 Obesity is a common health issue in our household pets that can easily be prevented. When trainee nurse Katherine brought in her family dog, Max, for his annual vaccination we realised an intervention was needed. Max weighed a huge 40.3kg when his ideal weight should have been in the low thirties. After relentlessly shaming Katherine, we've now placed Max on a strict Hills Metabolic diet - for his weight loss plan, he will only need 180g of kibble per day! She completed her Cert IV in October 2019 after working at a Veterinary Clinic in the Eastern Suburbs for 2 years. Beni has a particular interest in Sustainability and Conservation and has volunteered at Taronga Zoo, RSPCA, NSW National Parks, Cat protection society and has also worked on farms for many years. Her Favourite animal is the Sun Bear and she owns a gorgeous but naughty Beagle called Juno.

The disease is usually spread when dogs come in contact with urine from rats, but also indirectly via contaminated water or soil. 07.01.2022 This gorgeous Golden Retriever is Phoebe. She came in for her annual dental treatment last year which involved a routine teeth cleaning and a comprehensive examination of her mouth under a light anaesthetic. A suspicious lump was found under her tongue that was analysed and found to be a melanoma. Unfortunately, melanomas are often found too late in most dogs for successful treatment. Thanks to her owner's who stayed on top of her oral health checks, Phoebe was one lucky pat...ient as we were able to successfully remove the mass entirely by surgically removing a portion of her lower jaw. I am a recently desexed male poodle cross. I have been given a temporary name, Peanut! I love cuddles as am very sweet in nature.
