23.01.2022 Remembrance Day Services at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

22.01.2022 We were saddened to learn that on the night of November 9-10, after the joint ceasefire agreement signed between the leaders of Armenia, Azerbaijan and Russia, the Azeris entered the city of Shushi in Artsakh and desecrated St Ghazanchetsots, The Church of the Savior, leaving their mark on the outer and inner walls of the church. We strongly condemn what happened, describing it as open vandalism and intolerance. Azerbaijan, with its genocidal sponsor, Turkey, must not be allo...wed to continue its policy of cultural genocide, which has been pursued for decades in various forms in Azerbaijan and the Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic. At the same time, we call on all the international community of all denominations to raise their voice and take appropriate steps to stop this attack by the Azerbaijani authorities in Artsakh to our religious and cultural monuments and all anti-Armenian actions. 18.01.2022 After a hugely successful event, Zhingyalov Hats is back by popular demand on Sunday 15 November

17.01.2022 On Sunday 22 November 2020, Armenians the world over united in prayer to God to pay their respects and gratitude to our heroes who died defending the free and independent life of Artsakh. We mourned in our hearts the grief of the loss of our fallen heroes, along with our beloved parents, bereaved fathers and mothers, widows and orphans. Along with this unspeakable pain, we are also proud of their incomparable courage, unparalleled heroism and glorious bravery. Our heroes foug...ht with devotion, with the vision of the right of the Artsakh Armenians to live freely and the peaceful progress of Armenia and Artsakh. After the hokehankist, madagh harissa was prepared by the ever generous George Khoulmounian and served by the ladies of the ACLA, in memory of our fallen bothers and sisters. May the love, grace and help of God protect our homeland, our people all over the world, today, always and forever

15.01.2022 CHURCHES OF ARTSAKH We wanted to start a series on the churches in Artsakh to educate but also spread awareness on how deeply rooted the Armenian cultural and ...religious history is in Artsakh. This is the Holy Saviour Cathedral or Ghazanchetsots Yegekhertsi. Built between 1868 - 1887, this church is the seat of the Diocese of Artsakh. It was damaged during the March 1920 massacre of Armenians of the city by Azerbaijanis and experienced a decades-long decline, well into the Soviet period. During the Nagorno-Karabakh War Azerbaijan used the cathedral as an armory to store hundreds of missiles. It was restored in the aftermath of the war and reconsecrated in 1998. A landmark of Shushi and Artsakh, it has become an icon for the Artsakh Armenian cause. Standing 35 metres (115 ft) high, Ghazanchetsots is one of the largest Armenian churches in the world. The first picture is the historic cathedral in all its glory, the rest is the aftermath a very recent bombing by the Azeri aggressors. They may be destroying building, but they will never destroy our history, culture and the burning passion that is lit all Armenians around the world! #stopazeriaggression #stopaliyev #peacetoarmenia #stopazerbaijansaggressions
