You just need:... 1 Himalayan rock salt 2 Your favourite essential oil or blend of oils Grab a small bowl pour some salt into the bowl add about 10 drops of your oils You have yourself a natural room freshener. I used my favourite Eco blend Australian Shores. Thats it! Ive got one in my bedroom, one in the en-suite, one in the main toilet and bathroom. 14.01.2022 Tempering shea butter - did you know thats a thing? Working with shea butter can be tricky sometimes, it can go grainy as it cools, which isnt ideal, especially in our best selling hand balm. To avoid it, I temper the butter by melting it and then keeping it at about 80c for 20 mins. The hand balm is then cooled quickly in the fridge for beautiful smooth hand balm.

Perfect after a warm shower. Im just waiting on the packaging and these will be up on the website. This one is rose, vanilla and yang ylang. What other scent would you like to see?

10.01.2022 Our natural deodorants were our biggest sellers at the market on the weekend, so thought I'd write a bit about natural deodorant and how to do a pit detox! As women, did you know that we put over 500 chemicals onto our body each day? That's scary stuff! If you are new to using a natural deodorant, you may find it takes a little while for your body to get used to it. That's where doing a pit detox can come in. This helps to detoxify your sweat glands. You may also find... your armpits are a bit red or itchy when you first start using a natural deodorant, this can be due to the bicarb soda, some people are allergic. I also find if I use less I don't get red armpits, so you could try cutting down on the amount you're using. You only need a really tiny pea-size. When I was first starting out, I use to swap between my own deodorant and another natural one called No Pong. Back to the armpit detox. It's really easy and only uses 3 ingredients 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar 1 tbsp bentonite clay 1 tsp water (add more if it's too dry, should be the thickness of yogurt) Mix the ingredients together in a glass bowl. Don't use a metal spoon (the clay reacts with the metal). Spread over your armpits and leave it for a few minutes. Then wash off. You may need to do this a few times. I still do it now about once a month. If your armpits go a little red that's ok but for any other reactions, wash it off immediately. You might wonder why is this so important to me? Breast cancer is one of the biggest reasons I do what I do. I have two sisters, and both they and my mum have had breast cancer. So you can see why it's so important for me to avoid toxins and chemicals, especially around my armpits.

Our masks come dry for a couple of reasons. ... 1. It means we don't need to add a preservative and.. 2. It means you can decide what to mix it with. So what can you mix it with? I love apple cider vinegar, but you can also use aloe vera, water, yogurt. The possibilities are endless really. How often should you use a face mask? I use it once a week, to remove impurities and brighten up my skin tone.

Each company I use has only pure essential oils. Each company I use ethically sources its oils and has responsible production practices. Each company I use is transparent in their sources. So its not as simple as one size fits all. I use 4 main brands but there are loads out there who produce beautiful essential oils. Do your homework and see what works for you!
