13.01.2022 A P P R E C I A T I O N P O S T BBEYLC has been overwhelmed by the generosity of our families during the hectic COVID-19 times. Weve had some sneaky donations of nappies, gift cards, which allowed us to purchase resources for the centre such as a much needed iPad, climbing gym, outdoor toys and indoor resources for all ages. Also thank you to St Annes Central School, Temora who donated 8 notebooks to our centre.

We will lay our wreath at Temora Cenotaph ~ War Memorial. "They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them."

07.01.2022 ~ Community Engagement ~ This morning we had a visit from our local Paramedics, Shaun and Dylan. Prior to the visit, Educators and children discussed the role of Paramedics and their importance in keeping us safe, healthy and cared for. The children were given the opportunity to check out the Ambulance - this created much excitement, especially when the sirens were turned on.... Building connections within our local community creates a sense of belonging for all children. It also provides our Educators with invaluable information and resources.

Symptoms of COVID-19 can include fever, cough, sore/scratchy throat and shortness of breath, as well as other reported symptoms including loss of smell, loss of taste, runny nose, muscle pain, joint pain, diarrhoea, nausea/vomiting and loss of appetite. Also if a person who has been in Victoria within the last 14 days is already in NSW or arrives in NSW, they must self-isolate for 14 days from the time they were last in Victoria.

02.01.2022 B O O M E R A N G R O O M About our room: Educators Cheree Weir & Jessica Goodyer Nursery Room 0 - 18 months... Did you know our Boomerang Room has a no shoe policy which means: - Provides a safe environment and gives children the opportunity to explore safely (no fingers or toes being walked on) - Limits contamination from coming into the room, as our shoes pick up many nasties while outdoors. - We have seen minimal sickness in the Boomerang Room - meaning less germs are coming into the room. Bright Beginnings EYLC has an OPENDOOR policy, meaning our door is always open if you would like to look around.
