23.01.2022 Have been having problems with using FB apparently I have accidentally got 2 sites, have no idea how this happened, goes to prove you need a 7yr old to operate iPad’s. it is hard to teach an old dog new tricks. Thank you everyone for your support again last year. 2020 has been a difficult year for everyone let’s hope 2021 is better. The position we had last year was not the best I still have people saying they couldn’t find us or you didn’t do the shop last year . ....ye...s we did... We are always on the lookout for new and different products, they must be handmade not imported, and an original idea if possible. We had several different new products in last year and had very positive feed back. I still believe that we are the best art and craft shop anywhere, we continue to amaze people with the quality, variety and quantity of goods we sell and are constantly asked if we could stay open all year, unfortunately this is not possible as the overheads would be too high and age prevents full time work from any of us. Thank you once again for your support and lovely comments, 25 years ago I would never have though that a craft would grow and flourish and still be around in 2021. Have a happy healthy and prosperous year and we will be back in August or September.

Local hand made goods, made with love and passion are always welcome, the benefit being money stays in your area. Local in regional NSW could mean and does mean several hundred kilometres in distance. 19.01.2022 For over 25 years we have been promoting Made and Sold in the Bush Art and craft. We called ourselves Christmas Art and Craft because we only open for the few months before Christmas I believe we sell the best variety Quality and Quantity of Art and craft available under the one roof anywhere as many of your comments have indicated. A lot of crafts are just starting to come back into fashion and you will find that many our crafters are happy to help and give advice on the... products they produce, especially during these difficult times. We started up originally to give older people an outlet to sell the products they made, many a time I would be told don’t you ever close this shop up mate as it gives me a reason to get up every morning and go down to the shed and make something this gentleman has since passed on but many of the originals shared the same sentiments. Five of our original 12 have passed on but we still have a lady in her 90 who is now blind and has been unable to participate in the shop for about the last five years but is still interested in what is happening in the shop, another who has not placed stock in the shop for many years but still comes down and works at times (our PR person) what a privilege to have been involved with such special people. What a year, just when we were feeling like we were getting back to some kind of normal we have lock downs again. Hope you are all managing ok. Who knows what Christmas or the Christmas Shop will look like this year, we have had a lot of changes and hope to present to you the best shop ever with many new articles coming this year. Covid 19 has made many of us look outside the square and our very talented Crafters and artists have come up with some amazing new ideas, as with all Businesses we have given ourselves a face lift and hope you enjoy the changes and variety of stock on offer. We feel the changes will revamp our appearance and give a better variety of choice for our followers. Thank you everyone for your support over the years we are always looking for new and different ideas, if you make or know someone who makes something that is scalable and good quality we would love to have a look it. We are thinking of a name change ‘Christmas Art and Craft where EVERYTHING is made in the Bush.

14.01.2022 Every year we have different articles coming into the shop, I am posting a new idea that will be available this year. In these uncertain times it was suggest we sell online. I am not very computer literate but I am open to suggestions. As the age of 95% of our workers is over 70 yrs this could be a problem health wise. Would appreciate any feed back we can get please copy a share so that we can get a better idea as to our options could be and if you want the shop to continue. We have been going about 25 years so it would be sad not to continue.......it keeps oldies out of trouble Stay safe and isolate

14.01.2022 Stock is starting to come in more each day some very interesting goods new and different. We are beginning to look like a shop. The children’s craft is selling well they have earrings, coasters, tie died t shirts, hair clips, tiny cacti’s should be in this week. So keep them coming in kids, people love to support children as we do remember no commission and goods need to be saleable and under $10. This is an encouragement to get children to use their talents and imagination so good crafting kids. If you know someone who makes something a bit different and is saleable we are always looking for good quality craft. Don’t forget to like and SHARE to go into the $100 gift voucher. 12.01.2022 We survived the Royal visit I think the much wanted rain did stop people from shopping but a fun day had by all. The shop is plodding along and stock is still coming in we do have some really lovely things available and well worth a look. 11.01.2022 Well another year has almost come to an end, we are preparing to close the shop about 2 pm on Friday the drought has made it a difficult year for everyone. Things will not improve until the substantial rains fall we hope and pray it is not too far off. We would like to thank everyone for your support again this year and hope to see you next September/October when we will do it all again. 23years coming up. 03.01.2022 We have been going 3 weeks now and like everyone else things have been a bit quiet but the response once again has been wonderful. Our shop is very small but unfortunately it was the only one we could get. We are trying to get another shop but a little scary because of the drought. We still have quite a few people who we are unable to accommodate because of lack of space. With a little luck something will come up. 01.01.2022 Good morning everyone, I have had several people contact me wanting to know if we are going to have a shop again this year. We are being told that lockdown will finish early October if this is the case all our volunteers have been double vaccinated and are enthusiastic about opening. ... I have been looking at several shops but nothing has changed they are always hard to get at this time of year. I have a few positive options which I will be able to confirm in a few days. Because of COVID-19 renting a shop is a bit tricky. We have a lot of new contributors this year so a lot more variety. If you make or know some who does make lovely hand made articles we would love to see them. We are passionate about promoting hand made art and craft ‘ALL OF OUR STOCK IS MADE IN THE BUSH ALWAYS HAS BEEN’. Over the last 26 years We have been promoting ‘AUSTRALIAN MADE, MADE IN THE BUSH, our shop only needs to cover expenses it is not there to make profit per se. Any profit that we may make goes into shop improvements. Shelving, display, etc and kick start next year, this does not happen on a regular basis but we are thankful when it does, we sell raffle tickets for charities, promote charities when asked to do so, and are happy to do this. This year we will be selling tickets for a quilt for a charity. THE SHOP HAS DONATED THE QUILT. In past years we have donated hampers to be raffled and will do so again this year if asked. A shop this year will be different as everyone will have to check in, wear a mask and sanitise before entering, we will be following all the government recommendations, sorry no choice it is for your safety and ours. These are difficult times and we don’t know where or when this will end. Take care and stay safe, hopefully we will see you in a few weeks. 01.01.2022 Only three until Christmas and we have another shop at Orana Mall. We are at the Dominos entrance next door to the chemist. The stock is a little different to Riverdale as we are able to have the people who are normally in the shop and were unable to fit into the Riverdale shop up at the mall. We have been spoilt with the larger shops over the the last few years and the small shop was a shock but the only one we could get. The Orana Mall shop will be keeping the normal mall hours. The Riverdale shop will be open until 7pm next Sunday as we will have some shoppers from Sydney coming up to buy from the bush. Both shops will be opened 8.30 on the Monday.
