22.01.2022 This piece is off to Sydney to be auctioned at the cure brain cancer foundations avant garde Galla ball. I have used bold acrylic colours and printed silk for the dress. I hope it raises more money than l can donate! It is titled avant- garde Mornington peninsula. The sea the grape vines are prominent features on the peninsula, and the figure represents the grace, kindness, strength and beauty of my friend taken by this disease. Have a lovely weekend all

09.01.2022 Thankyou to all that have enquired how l went in the derinya art show this weekend. I did very well with winning best mixed medium award and sold it. Plus 3 commissions of dogs in suits . Although lam grateful of a successful show, it has been dampened with the passing of a dear friend today. I was privileged to paint Janette for "the little Archies" portrait competition a few years ago. This painting doesn't do her beauty justice in and out. I won second place in the show ..., and sold the painting , which was held by the oak hill gallery. No matter how much you cook meals , clean , do errands or just hang out with people going through an incurable cancer, it doesn't save their lives. The only way to do this is to get a cure! And the cure needs money for scientists to get results. So as a small drop in the ocean , l want to donate $100 to cancer research for every commission l get. Those that know me, know I'm not doing this to promote my art. In fact any cause that you choose , l will donate the money to, what ever cause you choose. Parkinson's disease has affected many of my relatives , including my beloved father. If l can get closer to a cure of saving a loved one of course l am going to be in it. Enough is enough! See more

05.01.2022 Finished 3 pieces for the derinya art show Friday 20th feb till Sunday 22nd.

05.01.2022 "Mr Wolfe" is finished and being delivered to its new owner tomorrow. Mr Wolfe is a cross Wolfe hound and looks very similar to my dog that l have been painting. I will be starting a new painting , which lam donating to the cure brain cancer "avant-garde " charity ball in Sydney . It's funny how the universe works . My beautiful friend died recently of a brain tumor, and all l have been thinking is we need to find a cure, and that means more funds. And then through word of mouth l was asked if l could paint something for this amazing event! I will post a picture of the painting when finished. If you are interested in going to this event , look up www.curebraincancer.org.au The ball is on the 15th September. Charlie Teo originally started this foundation, who unfortunately couldn't help my beautiful friend.
