18.01.2022 Started this little one last night. Probably finish it today then back to my horses.

18.01.2022 These are also at the gallery. The unframed are acrylic on canvas. I couldn't find a photo on my phone, but the mother lion and cubs on the log is there too.

16.01.2022 I think it may be finished now. "High Mountain Sunrise" Can be taken off frame and posted.

16.01.2022 Might be done. Time to walk away. It's much lighter than photo.

13.01.2022 Did this one Friday aftetnoon while waiting for doggie to start labour. Finally getting close towards trying oils. Having to get brushes etc. Kids gave me oils for xmas, so exciting. This one was some water soluable oils I had gotten in to try. Different than acrylics, but think I'll like the true oils a lot. Like that it is almost dry and has retained the rich colours.

08.01.2022 Inspired by my trip to the dunes at the mouth of the Murray. Second one is a close up of the dunes because when wet it just reflects the light and you can't see them in the photo.
