25.01.2022 Today is International Women’s Day I am blessed to spend majority of my days with incredible women who in many ways have helped me to grow with our incredible conversations we have. Something I have worked on extensively throughout 2020 (and will continue to do so) is myself and my desire to strive for perfection. What is perfection? It literally doesn’t exist!!... Holding yourself and others to this high level being is a recipe to drastically decrease your level of happiness in daily life. (I know because I’ve done it) The way I live my life these days is if it makes me happy I do it and if it doesn’t I don’t. (Unless it’s washing.. I really need clothes to wear ) I also question myself regularly because I am often wrong. I ask myself if this opinion is mine or someone else’s? Are my assumptions fair? Is this opinion a fact or is it something I’ve made up to suit my narrative? 2021 is the year that I have felt the most like myself in a very longtime.. so I urge anyone to not shy away from the hard questions. Ask them, journal on them, grow from them and let your true self SHINE! It unashamedly feels good to be me #internationalwomensday

I have known Bonnie since I was about 13 years old and she has alway...s been such a joyous and kind person to be around. She’s a hopeless romantic and she loves love just as much as I do which is how I knew she would be the perfect fit for our day. Bon knew me fairly well but to my surprise it only took her one sitting to get to know Jordan and really capture the essence of us, her ceremony was pure magic We had a few non negotiable things when it came to rescheduling this wedding and this beautiful lady was one of them! 11.01.2022 We are officially open for bookings again!!! Woohoo! June 16th here we come! We are so excited to see you all but there will be a few changes .. ... For now all bookings will come directly through us via message or email to ensure correct spacing. We will let you know when online is available again. We will be open by appointment starting with 3 days and increasing our hours to meet the demands. We will only have two clients in salon at a time and will have 15 minutes between appointments to sterilise our stations. There will be no bedding, magazines or makeup testers but rest assured it will be the same service youve come to know and love. She has such a knack for creating beau...tiful and individual arrangements that honestly take your breath away. I have had the privilege of working alongside Carolyn for a few years now and I can honestly say she is up there with the best. Not only is her work phenomenal but she is a beautiful person with such a kind and caring heart, the love that she puts into her work shines through to create pure floral magic! All of my flowers are fully dried now and are sitting proudly in my home where they will stay as a beautiful reminder forever I have mentioned previously how important sentimental things mean to me and my beautiful mum bought me the special pins in the last photo to put on my bouquet. The kookaburra and the blue wren represent two of the strongest women I’ve had the privilege to love. To carry them with me on my wedding day made me strong, made me brave and helped me to embody everything they’ve taught me about what it is to be a Richards. My surname may have changed but the legacy created by this beautiful family I call mine is far more than name, it’s a way of life and it’s everything to me.

01.01.2022 It is with great sadness that I announce tomorrow will be our last day of trade at Artemis Beauty Lounge for the foreseeable future. I know this will be upsetting for a lot of people and believe me when I say that nobody is feeling this deeper than me right now. After a call to a government hotline today I have been advised to close down one treatment room and the tanning room as they dont meet the distancing size requirements. It has played on my mind ever since that it d...oesnt really matter the size of the room when we work in such close proximity with our clients. This conversation has led me to the decision to do what is right by my family, my team and the greater community by closing our doors. For almost the last three years I have poured my heart and soul into this business.. I am devastated. I am also genuinely so sorry for any inconvenience this may cause people but at this point I need to do my part in helping to flatten the curve. Current times are confusing and we dont know whats around the corner, but what we do know is that this situation is serious. Please be safe, please be kind & most importantly take care of yourself.. hopefully well be seeing you on the other side
