23.01.2022 The Arthurton Progress Committee met tonight - we would like to support the communities affected by the recent Yorke Peninsula fires. If you’re coming to the Christmas Carols & BBQ, there will be an opportunity to make a donation to the Progress Associations in Price, Edithburgh & Yorketown to be distributed where they see fit.

23.01.2022 Today we usually see a large crowd gathered to pay their respects to those who have fallen and for those still fighting to keep us and our country safe. Instead our memorial stands by herself at dawn and in solace until the time is safe once again for our community to gather around her. Lest we forget. ... Thank you to those few who stood this morning, paid their respects, laid wreaths and to raise the flags to half mast. Thank you to those in our community who gave to our country in her time of need.

12.01.2022 The Arthurton Pop Up Markets are on again this year! NOV 8 is the date!! Over 70 stalls again this year - including live music, gin, food, coffee and a fantastic shopping experience!!

11.01.2022 Those bringing children..... We’ll have dinner for kids at 6 - will be platter / picnic style and a movie. Bring along a blanket and even a beanbag/kids foam lounge and some pjs.... hopefully they’ll sleep and we can have a fun night out!!!

11.01.2022 $2000 CASH REWARD - for information leading to a conviction for the recent break in at the Arthurton Sporting Complex. The community is getting sick and tired of these low life scum bags thinking they can come and break into our small towns club and take what they want. As pictured an A grade cricket bag was stolen as well as many other items including food/drinks/coffee machine and the cash box which thankfully had little in it.... Two of the three suspects were wearing balaclavas/masks/gloves but did have identifying clothing. The pictures in the Country Times last week were not of very good quality but the pictures attached to this post are much clearer. If you have any information regarding who the people pictured are or where any of the items are now located we would love to hear about it. Also if everyone can please share this post so we can get as much exposure as we can that would be awesome. Cheers, Arthurton Progress Association.
