24.01.2022 Today I visited Adelaide Central School of Art as a part of their Open Studio Installation Week of 'The Drawing Exchange'. 22 artists from around Australia have been brought together to produce new works drawn directly onto the walls (!!!) Tomorrow is the last day you can come and see the artists draw live and have chat to them about their work before the official opening tomorrow night!

09.01.2022 TWEDDELL STUDIO RESIDENCY Central Studios are pleased to announce the second round of our annual Tweddell Residency is open for application. The late Dr Ed Twed...dell was a generous supporter of visual artists and contemporary visual arts practice and had a particular and practical interest in supporting the career development of South Australian artists. To honour his outstanding contribution the artists of Central Studios created the Ed Tweddell Studio co-located with the existing Central Studios at Grote Street, Adelaide. We are now at 78 King William Street Kent Town. Artists seeking to develop new work for an exhibition or other specified project are invited to apply for this residency for a period of 6 months. The next Ed Tweddell residency commences September 4th 2017. Applications will close on 25th August at 5pm. Please forward a copy of your art biography, a short statement as to why you would like the residency post, and some information about the project you plan to work on. We would also like you to send three images of your work.
