Looking into a p...ersons eyes is not as easy as it seems. Within a second or two we withdraw. We look away. The awkwardness is too uncomfortable. Think about that. The awkwardness isnt it sad that we feel awkward and uncomfortable when we look into another persons eyes. I have done this exercise with 1000s and 1000s of people and as they move through the 3 stage process, the majority connect. When I have looked into the eyes of others during this exercise, Ive been blessed to see beautiful, vulnerable men well up with tears, Ive seen people soften who have led their life with a tough exterior, Ive heard people say it was the first time they had really been seen. Perhaps this mask wearing time is a blessing in disguise. It gives us the chance to practice connecting heart to heart. It gives us the reminder that behind EVERY face you see there is a beautiful, vulnerable, HUMAN waiting to be seen. Heart to heart. 02.01.2022 "Pearl By Nature" As part of the process in making the pearl pendant I melting 130grams of silver and poured into a cold water vessel creating rapid cooling of the silver into many different free form shapes.
