09.01.2022 My daughter is a recently qualified primary teacher in the UK. This is a photo of her room , getting ready for the 30 children to arrive on Monday after lockdown has eased. As you can see there is no social distancing and the children don't wear masks. She has been teaching the children of essential workers and at the same time preparing PowerPoint presentations, zoom meetings with both parents and children for those at home. A double work load which has been totally exhausti...ng for her. Teachers are not getting any preference in vaccination! Already 3 teachers in her year group have succumbed , 2 with long term symptoms like loss of smell and taste. My daughter is asthmatic.
