It is often confused for being some sort if sexual connotation - here we dispel that and give intimacy back it's depth... Intimacy means creating an authentic connection. That is the definition of intimacy. Intimacy has more to do with shared moments than sexual interactions. Intimacy is linked with feelings of closeness, safety, trust and transparency among partners in a collaborative relationship.... For intimacy to be sustainable and nourishing it also requires trust, transparency and rituals of connection. Intimacy requires empathy - the ability to stand in the others shoes. This lens is the place to focus on the meanings of intimacy. A key ingredient in life, many of us would like more ot it.

09.01.2022 2013: at Sacred Union we feel it will be a year of much letting go, letting in, learning, loving and growth. Sorry for the limited posts over the festive season. We have had practitioners and staff on breaks, camping, dancing at festivals, attending workshops, soaking up the sun on Thai beaches and generally preparing ourselves for this big year ahead of us. We are ready. Definitely come and visit us some time soon. We have two new practitioners starting with us over the next few weeks. We are developing some new sessions and packages.
