The painting has been touring Australia since 1983 - 222 venues. The public have to guess who the '3 Australians' are in the painting and record their opinions into Yearbooks. The Yearbooks form a Portrait of Australia. The painting in 2020 is currently in Rocky at the Southside Library foyer. Also with... the touring painting are letters from a diverse range of Australians and overseas nationals ... enclosed are the PRIME MINISTER'S and QLD PREMIER'S letters. The 'Three Well Known Australians' is intended to tour for many generations ... the timeless painting with its timely responses.
