25.01.2022 Its likely that for many people, this next 6 weeks of stage 3 restrictions will feel much harder than the first round. We were starting to recover, plan, hope and see the light at the end of a long tunnel. Children will be grieving the loss of security and freedom too. Perhaps its ok to strive less for academic milestones and encourage our kids to play again. Children process,think, learn and reflect through all kinds of play. Perhaps heal can take the lead from learn this time around. A brain processing trauma cant learn effectively.

24.01.2022 Artzmartz is excited to offer a new zoom musical read through program every weekend for ages 12-18! Each week students will read through a full length musical theatre script on a private zoom only available to group members. I am pleased to announce that the read through we will be doing this week is of High School Musical!! If youre interested, please film a short video of yourself singing something from the show (30 seconds is fine but can be longer if youd like) and say... at the start of the video at least 2/3 characters youd be interested in playing. I will try my best to give everybody a character they want but obviously cant give everybody the same role. These are due by Saturday at 10am at the latest but please try to get them in before that! You can send them to Amy Cole on Facebook messenger or upload them to YouTube and send me a link or email them to me - [email protected] . I will then sort through the videos and post a cast list around lunchtime on Saturday in our read through group which you can request to join below. The zoom read through will then occur on Sunday afternoon at 2pm, and I will post a zoom link later in the week. Super Happy Awesome News is a 30 minute zoom musical rehearsed online and performed as videos that tell a whole story when put together. The show tells the story of kids making a news show that is only about good news, until someone they interview shares their honest feelings and encourages other people to open up about how they really feel....
