21.01.2022 It is with great sadness that we advise that the founder of our practice, Andy Francis, recently passed away. As the man who, 40 years ago, took the step of starting a consulting engineering business, the impact he had on the lives of many is more significant than words can properly express. For those of us that worked with Andy and even those that may have only met him once or twice, it is safe to say that he was a highly respected individual who conducted himself with great... professionalism and dignity. His legacy will remain in the company that bears his name.

21.01.2022 Queensland Lighting Awards - Award of Commendation for Ashburner Francis Congratulations to John Campbell and the team in our Brisbane Office for receiving an Award of Commendation at the recent Queensland Lighting Awards night held by IES - The Lighting Society. 20.01.2022 We have been working with Arcare now for the past 4-5 years and have designed the M&E services for all but one of their sites in QLD to date. They have finally adopted solar at their first site as shown in the video at Townsville and are likely to install on all projects moving forward. This is hopefully the start of many other Energy Cost Reduction (ECR) initiatives that are being considered by the client for the future. Video footage courtesy of nu-tility.

15.01.2022 Ashburner Francis is pleased to announce our appointment to the North Queensland Stadium design team, working alongside Cox Architecture and other Queensland design consultancies. North Queensland Stadium is a joint project of the Queensland Government, Australian Government and Townsville City Council and is supported by the National Rugby League with a total project budget of $250 million. Our Townsville Office is only about 800 metres from the site, so our Townsville Staff... (some known to be rabid Cowboys fans [is there any other kind]) will be keen to ensure it's a success.
