11.01.2022 For any parents interested in attending the Triple P parenting program there are a number of upcoming sessions in the local area. Attendance is free and all you need to do is register. The course offers parents and carers useful tips for positive parenting techniques when challenged by the little humans in your life

11.01.2022 Welcome to my new page! For some of you, the term 'Mediation' might be somewhat foreign. Mediation provides an opportunity for separating couples (and in some instances families in dispute such as grandparents and children) who are experiencing parenting or property issues to resolve those issues via a negotiated agreement, with the assistance of a qualified neutral third party (that's where I come in). In the case of parenting disputes, mediation is compulsory to attend (wit...h some limited exceptions), before a party can make a parenting application to the court. Whilst this is not the case for property disputes, parties are generally encouraged to attempt to resolve issues without the courts' intervention, as court proceedings are not only draining on your finances, but on your emotional wellbeing. Mediation is therefore a faster and more cost effective way to resolve parenting and property disputes on an interim or final basis. I am a qualified Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner accredited with the Attorney General's office. This means that I am qualified to convene conferences and issue certificates (which are required to be filed with the court for parenting matters). I very much look forward to working with families to resolve their parenting and property disputes without the need for court intervention. Please do not hesitate to contact me regarding any enquiries.
