16.01.2022 Dear KOTB Families We have spent most of the morning trying to get a ruling on our activities here at KOTB as at times it is a grey area whether we are a school but also we could fall under the category of an indoor sport centre. I know there has been conflicting reports on facebook all morning. However, we feel we have a commercial responsibility now to take initiative and it’s with great sadness that the time has come for us to physically shut the doors to our normal clas...ses from midday today. We are so disappointed as continuing on and trying to keep some routine and exercise in our kid’s lives was a priority for us, not to mention seeing their smiling faces every day that brings us so much laughter and joy. With another two weeks left in this current term, we are currently working on delivering you the remaining weeks of classes via our new normal which for now will be online classes. Please take the next couple of days to catch up and process what the new norm will be like for us in the foreseeable future and we will be in contact again shortly when these videos will be available for you to view. We understand that there is a lot of uncertainly at the moment and if we can give our community a sense of belonging by connecting with familiar faces such as their dance teachers and dance friends while adapting to these and any new measures that are put in place, we hope that we can continue to keep them doing what they love and keeping our arts industry alive while trying to keep the community alive. Thank you to everyone who has already reached out and pledged their support as we navigate these times and look forward to seeing you all again in person in the not too distant future. 14.01.2022 A QUICK UPDATE FOR ALL OUR KOTB FAMILIES It’s been a wonderful energy pumping through our centres this week with lots of smiling faces and dancing feet back in the studios. Some faces we haven’t seen for a long time and we are thrilled to be open again!... We now have more classes operating at our PCYC Ashmore location while our classes are being spaced across the two campuses to allow us to tick all of our COVID Safe Plans during these restrictions. A little reminder for all our Bubs and Juniors on Saturday Your classes are at the Ashmore Campus. Don’t forget to check all your dance shoes to make sure they still fit. Miss Karen will be at reception with some supplies from our store if you need anything. ASHMORE CAFÉ Trial Opening This Saturday The facility operates an awesome Café called Little Gypsies and they will open on Saturday to service our KOTB families so we encourage everyone to support them PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE grab a coffee or a bite to eat so we can enjoy the service ongoing for our Ashmore early Saturday mornings ASHMORE PCYC GYM & FITNESS For those looking to get a little more active while you wait, PCYC also has a sparkling new gym facility you may want to take advantage of. Membership is $16.95 per week (includes use of gym & all classes) and there are no contracts, no member ship fees, pay-as-you-go each week and you can cancel anytime.
