23.01.2022 DRIVER ANNOUNCEMENT - TCR Australia We're excited to reveal the driver line-up for our two-car Alfa Romeo Giulietta Veloce attack on the 2021 TCR Australia Series, with the accomplished Lee Holdsworth joining young-gun Jay Hanson Motorsport in a combination that balances youth and experience. It's awesome to be heading into the season with such a high-quality driver roster and we can't wait for the first TCR round in Tasmania in a couple of weeks.... Check out the full story, including thoughts from Lee and Ash HERE: https://bit.ly/2Mz1pzu

23.01.2022 He didn’t get to do much racing in 2020, but Jay Hanson finished his season with a couple of race wins in the Victorian Excel Series at Sandown. #excelracing #sandownraceway #ashsewardmsport

23.01.2022 Here’s the latest update on the TCR Australia calendar.

23.01.2022 Australian Grand Prix | Thursday report A bit of a late post from us tonight, due to TCR Australia Asia Pacific Cup Qualifying and Porsche Motorsport Australia Carrera Cup Race 1 being the last two sessions of the day. In TCR land, both James Allen Race Driver and Jay Hanson Motorsport were quick out of the box, recording top five times in the opening practice session. James carried the strong pace into qualifying to take eighth on the grid (great effort in his first time at ...the track), while Jay unfortunately missed some track time with a technical issue in the second session, but was still able to qualify 14th... and we know from his Formula Ford experience that he has great race-craft, so he'll be on the attack in Race 1 tomorrow! In Carrera Cup, it was an up-and-down day; Max Twigg qualified second in the Pro-Am Class, lost some time in the race with a spin, but recovered to fourth, while Scott Taylor was solid in eighth. Dean Cook was running well until a puncture forced him into the pits, and he finished 10th. Another busy day coming up for us tomorrow, with TCR Race 1 in the morning and Carrera Cup Race 2 in the afternoon!

23.01.2022 Well done to Jay Hanson Motorsport, who scored a podium finish in Round 6 of the TCR Australia SimRacing Series at Sydney Motorsport Park last night! Jay was involved in some entertaining battles, showed some good pace in the virtual ASM Alfa Guilietta and wasn't afraid to get his elbows out. Looking forward to seeing him back behind the wheel of our real-life TCR car soon as well!

23.01.2022 Cookie flying our sim racing flag! Hopefully it won't be too much longer before we can go Carrera Cup racing again, but in the meantime Dean Cook is doing us proud aboard the virtual ASM Porsche 911 in the Porsche Motorsport Australia Virtual Cup. After some impressive performance over the first two rounds - including some outright top-10 finishes, Dean is leading the Pro-Am Class championship.... Next Monday, we're off to Italy for Round 3 of the series at the high-speed Monza circuit, and we can't wait to see Cookie pulling off some big braking moves into the chicanes and the famous Parabolica.

23.01.2022 Another project we’ve been undertaking during the motorsport break has been the design and manufacture of components for sim racing setups as we all know, the virtual racing scene has taken off lately! We’ve designed these custom carbon-fibre, GT-style paddles for the Fanatec Podium steering wheel and direct-drive system, popular among many sim racers. As well as looking and feeling awesome, these paddles also ensure a more positive shifting action important for ensuring ...you don’t miss a gearchange while you’re in the heat of battle! Each set of paddles retails for $68.00 + GST and postage, message our page or contact us on 0430 588 826 to order yours! Sim Racing Oz

23.01.2022 Big thumbs up from Ben Grice and Tim Slade after testing our Alfa TCR car at Winton the last couple of days. Fortunately, the weather cleared up today, so Ben and Tim were both able to get some laps on a dry track. Check out their thoughts on the day's running at the link below

22.01.2022 Happy New Year to all our supporters! While 2020 didn't go according to plan and we weren't able to do anywhere near as much racing as we would have liked, all the ingredients are in place for a much more positive 2021 and we're looking forward to making some exciting announcements shortly.

20.01.2022 It's been more than 12 months since Porsche Motorsport Australia Carrera Cup last ran a race, so we're champing at the bit to return to the track for the season opener at Sandown this weekend! Dale Wood has revealed a typically spectacular livery for his Mobil Pro Class entry and will be an outright contender for the championship. In the Pro-Am Class, Geoff Emery will be aiming to win his 11th national title, while Scott Taylor Motorsport is aiming for personal-best results, ...some good battles and a lot of fun along the way. The two-day format means we're in for a jam-packed Saturday with two practice sessions, qualifying and race one, with races two and three on Sunday. Check out our preview here: http://bit.ly/2QcAPxX

20.01.2022 Carrera Cup is back! Awesome to have an updated calendar for the Porsche Motorsport Australia Carrera Cup, featuring five more rounds across three different states. While the online racing has been fun, we can't wait to get back into real-world motorsport, starting at Winton next month.

20.01.2022 PRACTICE DONE - QUALIFYING Practice 2 runs without incident for the field and the team has completed all of its practice programmes, Dale Wood finishes 4th with Geoff Emery in 19th (4th in AM) and Scott Taylor 24th! Qualifying at 12:40PM AEDT on Fox Sports & Kayo!

20.01.2022 One of our TCR Alfas is returning to the track tomorrow at Winton Motor Raceway... and we've got a couple of gun drivers taking the wheel! Looking forward to seeing how Tim Slade and Ben Grice go in the ASM Alfa, and getting their technical feedback to help us with fine-tuning the car ahead of the first TCR Australia round at Sydney Motorsport Park in August. Check out the story here: https://bit.ly/2Nvuh8V

20.01.2022 It's Grand Prix week, and it's going to be MASSIVE! Our program this weekend includes: Young-gun Jay Hanson Motorsport making his TCR Australia debut in this weekend's Asia Pacific Cup races... James Allen Race Driver returning to TCR after his impressive performances in our Alfa Romeo last year Dean Cook and Max Twigg looking to continue their winning Porsche Motorsport Australia Carrera Cup Pro-Am form from Adelaide Scott Taylor Motorsport excited about another weekend of fun with our team, racing at one of the highest-profile events on the calendar. As always, we look forward to bringing you news and updates from the paddock right throughout the weekend!

19.01.2022 Introducing our virtual TCR car! While real-life motorsport is on hold for the moment, that hasn't stopped our TCR Australia driver Jay Hanson Motorsport from showcasing his driving skills in the online world. Jay has been a regular front-runner in the Tuesday night Just Send It Series, racing against Supercar drivers like Scott McLaughlin and Shane Van Gisbergen, to name a few.... Jay will be proudly flying our flag in the ARG eSports Cup, a series that will see real-life racers from categories such as TCR, S5000, Trans Am and Touring Car Masters going head-to-head with some of the finest circuits on the planet. Tonight's opening round of the series will be held at Mount Panorama with a two race format - a 30 minute feature race followed by a 15 minute reverse-grid race. The live stream kicks off at 8pm, and you can watch it on the TCR Australia page.

18.01.2022 Some cool facts about another one of our TCR drivers, James Allen Race Driver!

18.01.2022 It was a bit wet at Winton Motor Raceway today... but Ben Grice and Tim Slade both turned some laps in the slippery conditions. Fortunately, the weather forecast is looking much better for tomorrow, so we're going to stay in Benalla tonight and come back for another crack at it!

17.01.2022 Gradually getting back to normal! Great to turn some laps at a Winton Motor Raceway Test and Tune day today, with a Porsche GT3 Cup car and an Excel. Won’t be too much longer before we’re back racing for real, and we can’t wait.

16.01.2022 Any day at the Mountain is a good day! Great to have Andrew Goldie on track at Challenge Bathurst, competing in the SuperSprint category aboard his recently-purchased Cirrus Aircraft Porsche 991 GT3 Cup car. Andrew has acquitted himself to the new car really well, improving his times in each session and punching out some 2:16s this morning, before the conditions became hotter in the afternoon.... Andrew was one of the front-runners in Porsche Michelin Sprint Challenge in Class B last year and we can't wait to see him in the outright class in 2021!

13.01.2022 Our racing activities may be on hold at the moment, but we’ve been keeping busy in the workshop and channelling our energies into some cool projects! The MyChron5 GPS data logger is very popular in the karting scene and we thought its combination of affordability and usefulness would make it ideal for Hyundai Excel racers as well. So we’ve designed a mounting bracket to allow the MyChron5 to attach to the steering wheel of any Hyundai Excel race car. This means Hyundai Excel ...competitors can now enjoy all the MyChron5 data acquisition features, including steering wheel position, lap times, RPM and GPS-generated speed data a valuable tool for driver development at an affordable price point. The MyChron5 Excel mounts are available for just $48.00 + GST and postage, contact us on 0430 588 826 to order yours! Hyundai Excel Racing Association of Victoria Circuit Excel S.A. 12.01.2022 Great to have a date set for the resumption of our 2020 season (which also stretches to 2021). Exciting to be heading to Tasmania as well!

11.01.2022 Anyone remember the Colin Bond/Lucio Cesario Alfa 75?

10.01.2022 Fantastic to be back on track with Jay Hanson Motorsport at Winton Motor Raceway for a two-day test on Tuesday and Wednesday in our Alfa TCR Australia car! Jay completed almost 200 laps in the car, set some impressive lap times and gave us some great feedback. Check out our full test report, including comments from Jay and Ash HERE https://bit.ly/2ErAMsA

08.01.2022 It was an up-and-down weekend for our Porsche Motorsport Australia Michelin Sprint Challenge drivers at Phillip Island this weekend, but full credit has to go to our rookie racer, Terry Knowles, for his fine performance in the wet yesterday. Terry had never raced in the rain before, but brought the car home for a superb finish. Unfortunately, a big crash for Ross McGregor saw this morning's third Porsche race cancelled. It was also a character-building weekend for our TCR Aus...tralia drivers, but Lee Holdsworth maintained his top three position in the standings and Jay Hanson Motorsport charged from the rear of the field to eighth in race three. Check out our full weekend wrap HERE http://bit.ly/3qLGWpI

07.01.2022 A great feature in Auto Action on our TCR Australia young gun, Jay Hanson Motorsport!

06.01.2022 FASTEST IN PRO AND AM Dale Wood goes quickest in practice 1 at Sandown Raceway, Geoff Emery puts it 14th to lead the AM drivers and Scott Taylor works through his practice programme in 24th. Practice 2 is up at 10:30AEDT!

06.01.2022 Our TCR Australia drivers Jay Hanson Motorsport and James Allen Race Driver were all set to go out for Race 1, but unfortunately they never got the chance because all track activity for the remainder of the weekend has been cancelled Our thoughts are with all those impacted by the Coronavirus and we hope everyone travels home safely.

05.01.2022 Jay Hanson Motorsport is back in the ASM virtual TCR car for Round 2 of the ARG eSports Cup tonight! Jay showed plenty of promise in Round 1 last week, but got caught up in an incident early in the reverse-grid race, which cost him some points. Tonight's round takes us to Belgium's Zolder circuit, and there will once again be two races, with the second race featuring a top-20 reverse-grid format.... TUNE IN to the live stream via the TCR Australia Facebook page!

04.01.2022 A good test day for our two TCR Australia Alfa Romeos at Winton today!

02.01.2022 HUGE FIGHTBACK IN RACE THREE! Jay Hanson brings it home in 8th from 17th on the grid!! Lee Holdsworth was inside the top 10 as well before a puncture forced him into the pits, he finishes 19th.... Full weekend report coming soon!

02.01.2022 Our team owner Ashley Seward has a rich history working as a mechanic and engineer for open-wheel teams overseas, and tonight we're returning to open-wheel racing competition, albeit in the sim racing world. Jay Hanson Motorsport will be behind the wheel of our virtual Dallara Formula 3 car for Round 4 of the ARG eSports Cup at Monza - tune in to the live stream from 8pm!

01.01.2022 A cool write-up on our TCR Australia driver Jay Hanson Motorsport!
