23.01.2022 A big shout out to Mali Isabel The Kokatha Arabana woman is, at 22, the youngest and only ever Indigenous winner of the Adelaide Fringe Festival poster comp...etition. The winning piece, A Whimsical World, was inspired by Adelaide's CBD and its key locations, all of which Isabel said was up for interpretation. "For me, it's the Art Gallery and Rundle Mall, for someone else it might be Adelaide Oval or Hindley Street," Isabel said.
22.01.2022 ‘I Can See You’. Here is a Grass Parrot who has landed on an antique floral jar. It’s hard to believe looking at this little one that flocks of these birds are ...camouflaged in our paddock grass while feeding. They are so brightly coloured it’s amazing you can’t see them until they fly off. Such beautiful birds. The jar with floral design, features another camouflage expert - the locust, and is from 1875-1908. It was sold at China Guardian Auction house in Hong Kong. #colouredpencil #coloredpencil #grassparrot #chineseporcelain #icanseeyou #strathmorepaper #fabercastellpolychromos #prismacolor #stilllife #illustration #australianartist #canberraartist See more

13.01.2022 I’m so impressed with the art displayed in this group. I’m new, a retired educator, and not an artist. But I love creating with costume jewelry. This is Chanticleer. He was created on a metal yard art piece. I can’t draw a stick, but I can tear things up and glue!
