25.01.2022 Denmark's Best Kept Secret! If you are looking for a place for lunch set amongst bushland, vineyards and farmland, we've got a spot for you! Best of all, aside from an incredible 2014 Merlot, lunch won't leave you feeling like you need to remortgage the house! Yilgarnia Wines is just outside of Denmark. The menu has something for everyone including kids. Try the Pulled Lamb and Rosemary Pie - actually, try everything!!!

20.01.2022 Ok. Pop quiz for you all! Denmark is known for Greens Pool, incredible wines and food and a very relaxed feel. However, the two amazing beaches shown are a best kept secret, pretty close to town, easily accessible and don’t attract the crowds in summer. Can anyone name both of them?

18.01.2022 How would you like to float over the Southern Ocean? Denmark already offers The Tree Top Walk and Greens Pool which are two of the South West's most popular attractions. Now you can stand over the Southern Ocean as it pounds against the rocks below at The Gap and The Natural Bridge near Albany (about 30 drive minutes from Aspects Denmark). No cape or super powers required to stand on air but you might need a sprinkle of courage to look down!!

18.01.2022 What's your favourite red wine? If you answered "Cabernet Sauvignon", you are in luck! The Wine Tasting Master Guru Ray Jordan has declared Denmark to be one of the great cabernet regions in Australia. Denmark rubbing shoulders with world famous regions like Coonawarra and Margaret River? It's about time we say. We've known for years!! What's Ray's top picks? Castelli's 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon and Singlefile's 2013 The Phillip Adrian Cabernet Sauvignon. Both score a command...ing 98/100 points which makes them near perfect. Both of these wineries require a stunning drive through valleys full of tall timber and the occasional tease of ocean views. Just the ticket to get you relaxed and ready to swill these red grape beauties!

16.01.2022 The Return of The Rope Swing! Sometimes the simple things are often the best! Denmark has some of the best wineries and scenery in the world however could this be topped by a simple device otherwise known as a rope swing into the Denmark River? This humble rope swing see's more launches in an afternoon than Heathrow Airport. Air traffic control is managed from the gazebo and BBQ right on the river for those not looking to fly. The locals have been swinging into the Denmark R...iver for over a 100 years and it is your turn! Just 5 minutes away from Aspects Denmark, your kids (and your inner kid for the parents) will come away grinning from ear to ear!

15.01.2022 The weather is warming up and it's time to open Denmark's favourite local pool! Legend has it that five minutes in Greens Pool will cure 10 years of stress, eliminate all signs of aging and give you the ability to fly! Greens Pool is a wonder in the South West of WA, is just 10 minutes from Aspects and is one of the most picturesque areas you can find for a swim.

14.01.2022 Soft leather couches, 43 inch ultra high definition TV, 40 title DVD library - perfect for an afternoon of doing not much at all. Or just spend a few hours looking out the windows through the Karri trees onto Wilson Inlet with some local cheese and wine within close reach.

13.01.2022 Have you heard the one about the two cows standing in a paddock? Anyway that doesn't really matter! At Farmhouse Cheese Factory in Denmark, they have a lots of cows standing in their paddocks producing fresh milk for their unbelievably awesome range of cheeses - our favourites are the Harvarti, Stix River Blue, Persian Fetta and Cumin Cheddar. They also have a winery - Duckett Mill producing excellent wine to go with the cheese platter......oops, there goes an afternoon.....

12.01.2022 Looking for an amazing winter scenic drive among towering Karri trees? Load up the car and head off on a 48km round trip on the Scotsdale Loop. After this trip, you'll be so relaxed, driving at 40km per hour will feel like light speed! You'll pass green valleys looking across to the ocean, wineries, farmhouses, a cheese factory, berry farm, a mead factory, leather works and plenty of restaurants and cafe's for a rolling morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. It has to be one of the South West's most picturesque drives.

12.01.2022 When the world was created, one of the first trees on the planet must have been the trees in the Valley of Giants. The size of these trees is truly spectacular. Looking up to the canopy comes with a free next stretch. You can also walk among the Giants through the tree top walk suspension bridge that the area is famous for. When you are 40 metres in the air and still not clear of the canopy, it is really something. Only a short drive from Aspects, this will be a day trip th...at you won't forget for a long time. Search Valley of the Giants Walpole for the all the info you need.

10.01.2022 Rockcliffe Wines and their onsite restaurant Little Villain have brought back the relaxed Sunday Session with their free music afternoons on the lawn. Roll up with a picnic rug, some cheese and enjoy chilled live music. (we recommend the pino to wash it all down with!). Perfect for the family and lots of grape vines for the kids to run through! The good times are on right through to March. See the website link below for more details. ... www.rockcliffe.com.au//Summer-2015-Music-Sessions-at-Rockc

10.01.2022 Whether you like to greet the morning sunrise with a Yoga Sun Salutation or a freshly baked croissant from the south west's most awarded bakery, the deck at Aspects is perfect for both (and yes, the bakery is open early enough to be back in time!)

09.01.2022 The first photo was taken from the deck of Aspects this morning as the sun rose with a freshly baked croissant from the Great Southern Bakery and a cappuccino from Raven’s Cafe on the table. Fast forward to the second photo taken this afternoon with a glass of local Forrest Hill Cabernet and aged cheddar from the Cheese Factory on the table. If there anything more perfect than a crisp, sunny winters day in Denmark? www.aspectsdenmark.com.au

09.01.2022 The Best Wineries in the South West! The days are shorter and cooler which can only mean one thing - it's red wine drinking weather! Aspects Denmark is 15 minutes from incredible wineries producing 90+ point wines that are brilliant value. The more you drink, the more you save! Some of our favourites - Harewood Estate, Rickety Gate Wineries, and Forest Hill. Pack a jumper and your taste buds for a winter get away to remember.

09.01.2022 If you’ve just checked your BBQ gas bottle and tomato sauce bottle and both are empty, it might be easier to head to Denmark for Australia Day with all the events that are on! Australia Day - there is a Community BBQ brekkie on Denmark River 8-10am (BYO plates and cutlery). Markets and music at Rockliffe Winery in the arvo 4-7pm. On Saturday (27th) there’s Burgers n Beers (and wine) at Ocean Beach Surf Club from 4-7pm and a sundowner movie at Rockliffe Winery called Hidden ...Figures (a fabulous true story movie about NASA). Watching a movie next the vines with a glass of wine anyone? On Sunday if you still have energy, head back to Rockcliffe Winery to listen to the easy tunes of Katie J White Live from 4-7pm.PHEW!!!!

07.01.2022 Star Wars comes to Denmark! Aspects has everything you could need for a super chilled break but our street doesn't have street lights! So, when the sun goes to sleep on a clear night, the sky is blanketed in stars against a pitch black backdrop. Taking the kids for a walk with a torch is another guest favourite. When the torch goes off, there is nothing but the smell of wood fires and darkness for the kids to experience. Or, a morning walk as the sun comes up is another way to forget the world and listen to the trees and the birds.

06.01.2022 Where will the Easter Bunny stop to get some bread after a busy night delivering chocolate eggs in Denmark? Denmark Bakery have won over 300 awards!! That's more medals than the Australian Olympic team! There are more trophies and ribbons on the wall than you can read while stuffing down a tomato, onion and cheese sausage roll, satay pie or fruit scones......or hot cross buns or........bread.....or......... A trip to Denmark isn't the same without stopping in to this Great Southern ripper! A croissant, flat white and the paper on the deck at Aspects.........what an idea!

05.01.2022 Sometimes all that lazing about on the deck among the trees can get a little exhausting. If you have kids with you (including adult kids who love surfing), 5 minutes away is Denmark's beautiful Ocean Beach. Pull in for a some green room action on your board or SUP, let the kids splash and have a cracking day at the beach. After all that lazing around (again!), head up to the lookout deck (with wine of course) and enjoy natures light show at sunset.

04.01.2022 Thanks very much to our recent guests who have left such lovely feedback on their time at Aspects. We are really wrapped you love Aspects and Denmark as much as we do! "Paradise Amongst The Birds We only had a very short stay (1 night) however the accommodation at Aspects was fantastic. The house contains everything you might need for a long stay and you may not wish to leave the house. We had an amazing breakfast on the balcony with the galahs, parrots, and pigeons - the b...ird seed was a great touch. Stunning view over the inlet and we would highly recommend Aspects". - John Hi Fiona, what a beautiful house for accommodation. We were welcomed with a local wa wine and a clear set of instructions relating to a few aspects of the accommodation not an overwhelming amount. The accommodation we loved with its magnificent views over the water and the bird life. The house was perfect for our needs. We found it to be very clean. It was an easy distance from the town of Denmark and other related tourist places. The weather was cool but the gas heater soon warmed up the living rooms and heaters in the bedrooms an extra blanket was also provided. We would recommend "Aspects" to others heading to the South West region of W A. Vicki Proof of testimonial's authenticity happily provided on request

03.01.2022 Spring has sprung! With winter now behind us, it is time to get back outdoors and into nature. Denmark Thrills is a nature based adventure park where you can abseil, flying fox, giant tree rope swings and bubble soccer away an afternoon overlooking a beautiful valley. To roll in style, get into the Hydro-Zorb Ball and bounce down the hill sloshing around in water! Visit www.denmarkthrill.com.au for more info. Best of all Castelli Estate is just up the road for a post adventure wine tasting to discover the perfect wine to take back to Aspects and enjoy on the deck overlooking the water.
