23.01.2022 ** IMPORTANT INFORMATION ** I have been on a teleconference with the Chief Health Officer regarding the #Covid19 cases announced this morning. The following inf...ormation has been provided: Queensland Health is currently speaking with two young women who returned from Melbourne on 21 July via Sydney and have tested positive for COVID-19. The movements of these two women are urgently being confirmed and contact tracing has begun. QHealth has confirmed that they visited Peak Thai Restaurant at Orion Shopping Centre on Sunday evening. They may have also visited other shops in Springfield Lakes, but this is still being confirmed. A detailed list of all locations visited will be issued later today - as interviews are still taking place with the women. If you are in Greater Springfield and you have Covid19 symptoms, you need to get tested and self-isolate. https://bit.ly/2D039gT West Moreton Health has confirmed they are standing up a Fever Clinic at Orion Shopping Centre from tomorrow morning (30 July 2020). If you have any concerns or questions, please contact my office on (07) 3447 9300 or email [email protected]. Please be assured that everyone is working very quickly to manage this situation. I also urge you to only follow official advice on this matter as information is being sourced properly. I will provide further details as they come to hand.
