20.01.2022 To all of our valued students, We have been monitoring the advice of the Australian Government and the WHO in recent days and whilst the current risk in Brisbane is low, the COVID-19 threat has driven increased uncertainty and concern in our community. As Kravist, were not about waiting for a threat to be on top of us, were about taking calculated tactical decisions to keep ourselves and loved ones safe even if it means leaving a situation just in case. ... With this in mind, we will be suspending classes at Newmarket and Bulimba effective immediately. Our aim is to monitor community confidence and advice from the Health Department and the World Health Organisation then share our return date with you ASAP. In the meantime, we are also investigating ways to continue sharing Krav with you so stay tuned. Direct debit payments have been paused and casual passes will be held over for our return. We encourage our Krav Community to act with common sense and consideration for the more vulnerable in the community whilst heeding the instructions of the Health Department: - Wash your hands thoroughly and frequently - Practice social distancing where possible - Keep your hands out of your eyes, nose and mouth - Cover your mouth and nose with your bent elbow or a tissue when if you sneeze or cough (throw the tissue away immediately) - If you have a fever or cough or difficulty breathing, see medical advice early Well stay in touch via our Facebook Page, Aspire Community Page, Instagram, and email. 16.01.2022 Hi all! In light of this weeks events as far as the re-emergence of COVID on the Southside. We have decided to postpone class AGAIN due to our concerns for safety. This is despite our original plan to start regular classes on Tuesday Even with the adherence to our COVID SAFE plan, the risks are just too unpredictable for us to have an adequate level of safety that we are happy with. ... We will be taking this on a week by week basis and as soon as we feel comfortable we will be ready to go and let you know ASAP the next class time/outdoor community class we will be running.
