14.01.2022 It has been an incredibly busy week here at Atherstone! We have celebrated NAIDOC Week, Remembrance Day and Diwali, with children engaging in many experiences that inform and educate them about the importance of these culturally significant events.

13.01.2022 Remembrance Day is such an important day to acknowledge our history and the sacrifices made by others. The children in our Grasslands room have engaged in conversations about the significance of this day and painted poppies to help them connect with our history and begin understanding how important it is these days are honoured. Lest We Forget.

11.01.2022 The children in our Grasslands room are very interested in fine motor activities at the moment. They are enjoying tracing shapes, matching colours on pin boards and using different constructions materials to build with.

02.01.2022 The children in our Lilypily room had a wonderful experience planting capsicum, corn, beetroot, tomatoes, beans, bean sprouts, lettuce and parsley. We can't wait to watch our vegetables grow and eat them all when they are ready!
