14.01.2022 What is Paediatric Physiotherapy? Paediatric physiotherapists have expert skills in the assessment, identification and diagnosis of, and treatment of child development and movement difficulties. We have highly developed hands-on skills, which we use with a big dash of fun, creativity and playfulness, to develop individualised therapy programs for each of our clients. ... Working with the child, the child’s family, other health professionals and teachers or educators. Our treatment programs aim to optimise the health, well-being, and abilities of each child to enable them to move and participate in everyday activities, like playing, learning, going to school, and being part of a family and community.

11.01.2022 Happy #OTWeek2020, Given the recent onset of droughts, bushfires, and the global pandemic, in 2020, the theme for OT Week is Resilience: Supporting our communities to rebuild, recover, and reengage. We want to shine a light on the value of Occupational Therapy in our community. Occupational Therapists support people to participate in activities they find meaningful. OT's are vital in helping our communities through disaster recovery. As disaster survivors reengage in disrupted occupations (such as daily routines, activities and employment), they can better cope with stress and feel supported through their recovery.

05.01.2022 The 2020 National NAIDOC Poster, Shape of Land, was designed by Tyrown Waigana, a Noongar and Saibai Islander man. Tyrown’s artwork tells the story of how the Rainbow Serpent came out of the Dreamtime to create this land. It is represented by the snake and it forms the shape of Australia, which symbolises how it created our lands. The colour from the Rainbow Serpent is reflected on to the figure to display our connection to the Rainbow Serpent, thus our connection to country.... The overlapping colours on the outside is the Dreamtime. The figure inside the shape of Australia is a representation of Indigenous Australians showing that this country - since the dawn of time - Always Was, Always Will Be Aboriginal Land. - Source: NAIDOC.org.au #NAIDOC2020 To download your own own printable copy use the link below https://www.naidoc.org.au//2020-naidoc-poster-colouring-in
