22.01.2022 Carlton Road is NOW OPEN again in both directions. So we are 5-10 minutes closer to most of you that come to see us via Terrigal/Erina. See you all soon-er!

21.01.2022 Andrew has been regularly contacted by so many of our loyal and caring patients to check in with him and make sure he is ok, so I thought it was time to give everyone an update... Since his myeloma diagnosis in February, Andrew has undergone weekly chemo sessions. Last Wednesday he spent 7 hours hooked up to the machine in the picture while his entire blood volume circulated through 3 times, collecting 19 million stem cells. One third of these will be transfused back in durin...g the first transplant, from 20th July. This involves a 3 week stay in hospital, followed by a couple of weeks to recover at home, before the process is repeated in a second transplant. Andrew has been mostly well so far except for some fatigue. He is such an incredible fighter and has done everything right to give him the best chance to beat this bug. He has been keeping busy at home writing research papers, painting the house, helping entertain & school 3 kids & running the business in the background. Unfortunately the risk of Covid & infection generally has kept Andrew out of the clinic & he really misses seeing & helping his patients. He is already planning getting back in there as soon as he has allowed after the transplants. We are grateful more than ever to our wonderful team of staff. Our physios Patrick, Brendan & Chris and our Front Desk staff take great care of our patients & we have a couple of new signings to our team to announce shortly. We look forward to being even busier once sport for everyone resumes soon! The support & gestures of so many of you have been such a big boost to keeping Andrew's spirits up during this process. We know how fortunate we are to be surrounded by so much love in both our personal & Aspire communities and we thank you all. 19.01.2022 THE MASKED PHYSIO! Given the current Covid-19 situation & NSW public health directive, our physios are now wearing masks when within 1.5m during your treatment- to protect us and to protect you. We ask that all patients (& those that come here with patients) also wear a mask when within 1.5m of your physio. We do have a limited supply of masks to provide patients but ask that if you have a mask of your own please bring this with you. Covid-19 is not going away in a hurry & we have to learn to live with it. We appreciate you working with us as we adopt habits to protect everyone in our community. We look forward to seeing you for your appointment, all masked up!

16.01.2022 And here I was thinking a PhD would be my last big certificate! Here at Aspire we are ready & prepared for your visit to us. We are busy helping our patients that need us. 08.01.2022 We are proud to announce that Danny Redrup has joined Aspire. Danny is the current Sydney Sixers Cricket team physiotherapist and was Head Physio at Cricket NSW for 4 years. Danny brings with him 15 years of experience, adding further expertise and qualifications to our team, and in particular loves solving lower back and shoulder problems. Danny is available for appointments from 20th July. Welcome Danny- our patients will be fortunate to benefit from your help to get back to their best. 05.01.2022 CORONAVIRUS CHALLENGES We share everyone's concerns regarding the COVID-19 outbreak. Here at Aspire we are continuing to provide you with the help that you need, while at the same time implementing some sensible and simple precautions to minimise risk. My chemotherapy treatment also kicked off yesterday, which means I have to be a bit extra careful, without being able to live in a bubble as well. I thank the many hundreds of you that have been in touch offering your support,... favours and kind wishes- all have been gratefully received and are much appreciated. We are taking steps to make sure our clinic remains as safe as possible, and to optimise the chances that our staff stay well to provide you with the help that you need. Things may of course change but for now we ask you to please respect the following: * If you have any symptoms of cold, flu, runny nose, cough or believe you may be coming down with any respiratory illness, as a courtesy to other patients and our staff, please call immediately to reschedule your appointment. There is of course no cancellation fee charged in this situation, just let us know and give us as much notice as possible please. * Please call us to reschedule your appointment immediately if you departed mainland China, Iran, Italy or South Korea OR if you have had close contact with a person with confirmed COVID-19 while infectious, as you must self-isolate at home for 14 days in conjunction with government guidance. * If you or anyone in your household has returned from ANY other countries identified as high risk within the last 14 days, we also ask that you please reschedule your appointment to help reduce the risk of infection to other patients and our staff. We always implement safe hygiene practices as a matter of habit, but need to take some extra measures at the moment. * Although we routinely welcome our patients with a handshake, we are not shaking hands until this all blows over- please don’t be offended! Other variations are encouraged! * Please enter our clinic with your hands clean by using a sustained soap & water wash +/- alcohol based sanitiser- and let us know where you can buy some! * Our Front Desk staff will wipe down the payment terminal following each transaction and regularly wipe down our door handles. 03.01.2022 ANNOUNCEMENT! There isn't much good news in the middle of a pandemic, but we are happy for this to go viral! We have now signed building contracts and works on our new Aspire home at 419 Terrigal Drive Erina will be commencing by 6th September. The transformation in the 1,000sqm site will be dramatic as you can see from the images, and we can't wait to bring this facility to the people of the Central Coast. We will be the same (but growing) team delivering the highest level o...f experience, expertise and rapid & lasting results that our patients & referrers have grown to trust and expect. But soon we will be delivering this in a clinic premises custom designed with more spacious individual consulting rooms, a gym filled with brand new equipment that will be just what we need, and the most parking spaces solely dedicated to any health business in Erina. And centrally located to so many of you on a major road in Erina. We will keep you posted with photo updates as our dream becomes reality. For now, we are open, available, Covid-safe.
