25.01.2022 Is COVID-19 messing with your exercise routine? Here's 3 big reasons not to let your physical activity levels drop while you're isolating yourself at home: 1. M...ental Health - Being isolated might be taking a toll on your mental health. If you're feeling down, exercise is a great way to boost your mood and improve your mental health. 2. Immunity - Exercise helps to improve your immune function, can slow age-related immune system decline and helps to reduce inflammation in your body. 3. Stress & anxiety - These are challenging times. Many people are under increased financial pressure, daily routines have been thrown out the window and we're living through an event that is unprecedented in modern times. It's stressful! Exercise can help to manage this increased stress and anxiety. If you need some help staying active during this pandemic, we've got you covered. Head to our website and check out "Exercise Right at Home": it's a series of home workouts recorded by accredited exercise professionals to help keep you moving. #ExerciseRightatHome

19.01.2022 Happy Valentines Day. Let’s share the love by talking about the most important love muscle of our body the HEART. There are many conditions that affect the heart but let’s focus on the main 3 Cardiovascular disease, heart disease and heart attack. Cardiovascular Disease: * Is a major cause of death in Australia that kills one Australian every 12 minutes. * It involves heart, stroke and blood vessel diseases. ... * Affects one in six Australians with most people 65 years or over currently living with long-term CVD. Heart disease: * Is the single leading cause of death in Australia. * On average 51 Australians die every day from heart disease in 2017, or heart disease is responsible for a death every 28 minutes. Heart attack: * It is estimated over 400,000 Australians have had a heart attack at some time in their lives. * Each year, around 57,000 Australians suffer a heart attack. This equates to one heart attack every 10 minutes This here is a picture of one of our long-term clients Arthur Chapman who not only has had a quad bypass, cardiac arrest, 6 stents, pacemaker and internal defibrillator, he has never once given up and each session he has with us he gives his utmost. What a true inspiration.
