01.01.2022 RACE DAY TIPS - 31 OCTOBER 2020 Here are some tips from our Race Caller Dylan Bairstow ahead of tomorrow's #RedCentreRacing action at Ladbrokes Pioneer Park. Race 1... Tiger Trap looks perfectly placed to break through after a good run last start flashing home and with the claim for apprentice Alice Lindsay gets him down to 57.5kg. Toffiato is consistent and is one of the main dangers along with Celtic Belle off a slight freshen up and Nordic Eclipse next best. Selections: 1,2,4,5 Race 2 A maiden event over 1200m with some who have had convictions and others having their first start in the Territory. Landed with Dream Dreamer on top for some value two runs ago was placed at Moe behind an eventual group 1; performed so putting her on top but with no confidence, ahead of Desert Lass who was good for her first start with the Whittle stable. I’ve got time for D’liva and Still Justified does a lot wrong but is close to breaking through. Selections: 8,5,1,4 Race 3 Tough race to dissect with a small but interesting field putting Brooklyn on top who was good last start and might find the front here and be looking to hang on from its stable mate Ash Grey who can put a big run in fresh, but obviously well short of his best distance. Le Commandant would of taken benefit out of his first up run the evergreen and Wayanka next best. Selections: 3,2,1,5 Race 4 Silent Ice drops to bm54 for the first time in a long time and gets in pretty well with the claim for Dan Morgan he was only beaten just over 2 lengths in a lightning back in April so gets his chance here in a skinny race. Speedycom was good last start and will be up on speed, At Your Peril and Racorza might fight out the minors. Selections: 1,7,2,8 Race 5 Texas Miller off a 55 day freshen and has to carry 59.5kg and give most of the field 4kg is the little things against him, but he has won 3 in a row and looked good in doing so. American Star went too hard in front last start and it took its toll late but is consistent and is dropping in grade. Escalator won by just under 8 lengths last start in an average race but he smacked them like he was going to go on to better things and Modernas Arrow next best. Selections: 1,2,3,4 Happy punting!
