01.01.2022 I’ve been waiting for the right moment to make a formal announcement about some changes that have been taking place in my cycling life. A few months ago I was a...pproached by Brett Aitken SASI Head Coach to reconsider giving track another go. It took me a bit of time to get my head round it, as track has delivered me some highs but had more often delivered me some very big lows. I have always loved track but for some time I had distanced myself from it. I agreed to give it another full go and with that I transitioned from my super coach Hilton Clarke to another super coach Brett. We’ve been quietly working away at some new goals ever since. With that, I have an announcement to make and that is I’ve taken up the invite and opportunity to travel with the SASI team as a development rider to go to the upcoming Oceania Track Champs to be held in Southland New Zealand. This will lead to a number of firsts including first U19 event and first International UCI Event. And again I can’t stay on this journey without the help of my sponsors, friends who help me and also my family. One of my biggest sponsors Ash Grembka from Atek Solutions and also a close friend of mine helped me with my new Fast Forward wheels package that I desperately needed to make the transition to U19 racing.
