13.01.2022 I did the 4km walk for type 1 Diabetes on the weekend and it was such a good experience! A big thank-you to Macquarie Bank Brisbane for getting a big team together for me and raising an astonishing amount of $3500 to help cure Diabetes! For those of you who aren't aware, I'm a type 1 Diabetic myself and have had it for 14 years. I'd just like to say that from experience, having type 1 Diabetes does not stop you from doing anything and especially achieving your goals & dreams! 01.01.2022 The end of the week has arrived and the weekend is about to begin! That's not an excuse to not workout or go and exercise for 30 minutes minimum. Make sure that if you are wanting to gain weight you need to be consuming more calories than those being burnt. Also vice versa, if you are wanting to lose weight you need to be burning more calories than you are consuming daily by intense exercise (weights or cardio, remember lifting weights burns twice as many calories as doing cardio). Have a good day!
