25.01.2022 "Its a sad day for all the showmen in WA. The Perth Royal Show is the number one thing on our calendars." Third generation showman Daniel Williams wont be tak...ing his rides, like the teacup and saucers and flying Dumbos, to the Claremont Showgrounds this year, after the 2020 Perth Royal Show was cancelled due to COVID- 19 health concerns. "Its been an extremely tough year for the whole industry, we were among the first to be shut down and among the last to reopen," he told ABC Perth's Drive program. "Ive attended the show every year since I was born, so its strange to think we wont be there this year."
