19.01.2022 Bullying is the use of force, threat, or coercion to abuse, intimidate or aggressively dominate others. The behavior is often repeated and habitual. One essential prerequisite is the perception, by the bully or by others, of an imbalance of social or physical power, which distinguishes bullying from conflict.[1] Behaviors used to assert such domination can include verbal harassment or threat, physical assault or coercion, and such acts may be directed repeatedly towards parti...cular targets. Rationalizations of such behavior sometimes include differences of social class, race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, appearance, behavior, body language, personality, reputation, lineage, strength, size or ability.[2][3][4] If bullying is done by a group, it is called mobbing.[5] What can you do Walk away Ask to stop Ignore person Be confident even if you dont feel confident See a friend to discuss See a teacher or parent or adult Report person or group What about online? Leave conversations Report Cuber Bullying Keep records of bullying Tell authorities, parents, teachers etc Should I watch or stand by as others are bullied? Absolutely No Way - it will leave you and them feeling terrible, maybe for the rest of your life. Nevertheless, your safety is key so take part in the actions above SAFELY. AT ATI Martial Arts we specialise in bringing up young through to older students with the confidence, resilience and modesty to deal with modern society and including pressure from peers. Unfortunately though its not something you can just get from a sticker - you have to train, learn and embrace good qualities. Get involved and keep each other safe. Thanks Brian Reardon ATI Martial Arts

Your children didnt even compete and you ...selflessly gave up your time, money and Im sure yet another 5 years off your life... We truly appreciate all you do for your students - your time, patience, knowledge, experience, hard truths when needed, empathy, energy and most of all never giving up on them and seeing/believing what they are capable of achieving. You teach our kids resilience, integrity, health and fitness, pride, humility, respect, how to be humble and how to "never give up". You are an inspiration and saying just thank you somehow doesnt cut it. Im sure I can speak for many when I say we are so lucky you chose to chase your dream and start ATI Sunshine Coast. 04.01.2022 We as a supportive family club would love to get this beautiful little girl to her goal and help her raise the funds towards a cause that supports her and her family when needed. If you could spare a little donation that would put a massive smile on her gorgeous little face that would be amazing. I have posted Rubys story from Lisa her Incredible mum below. She truly is an inspiration.https://www.42kyourway.org.au/fundraisers/lisaadams This starts today November 1st through ...until November 16th. If you would like to join our team and contribute some kms to our 42km target go to https://www.42kyourway.org.au/join/raisingruby and register as a team member A little about Ruby from her incredible mum....When Ruby was born in 2013, we had no idea what stood before us, and how hard Ruby would have to fight just to stay alive in those first few weeks, that have rolled into years. Fast forward 6 years and Ruby has had anaesthetic 36 times, 2 laporotomies, 3 fundoplication surgeries. Ruby is fed via a gastrostomy button and suffers from recurring dislocations, joint pain, severe reflux and gastrointestinal problems. Ruby has spent more time in ICU and in hospital than some adults will spend in their whole lifetime. During those stays, Ruby was often connected to big machines and critical care equipment. Items that have been so kindly donated to ensure that the best care is received by each and every child who finds themself inside the walls of a hospital. Our family knows what its like to be long term patients of the hospital, and without the support of the Childrens hospitals foundation providing an environment that was just that little bit less scary, it just wouldnt be the same. To have the hospital feel just a little bit more like home goes such a long way for little people who are fighting big battles. Some days, Ruby finds just getting out of bed extremely hard work and very painful so the idea of walking 42km is a big deal to her, but She has made this commitment to help give back to the Foundation that is always helping us! As her Mum, I have committed to do this with her, and so we have purchased a wagon for Ruby to ride in, and members of our #RaisingRuby team are welcomed to join in our 42k commitment by joining us on this journey! "A six-year-old girl whos had more than 20 surgeries is planning a charity walk to help other sick kids. The young Queenslander battles complications from a rare tissue and muscle disorder, but that wont stop her stepping out to fundraise for the Childrens Hospital Foundation."
