25.01.2022 The health of all who use our centre is our number one priority. We have received updated advice from ASCTA regarding the Novel Coronavirus today. Any customers that have visited China are asked to not attend lessons until 14 days have lapsed from their date of departure from China. This is in accordance with the public advice from the NSW Health. Please contact the centre if you are impacted. ... Our standard make up policy applies for all customers. 21.01.2022 Check out Stage 1 of our entrance improvement plan!! Despite being closed we have been busy creating a safer entrance for all users. We have removed the garden at the entrance and now have a pathway alongside the driveway. This means pedestrians will no longer need to share the driveway with cars. Our beloved turtle now has a new home having strolled a little further on the grass to allow a direct path and easy pram access to the entrance.

20.01.2022 While the last of our 2019 lessons are finishing up, we would like to say a very big merry Christmas and happy New Year to all our wonderful swimmers and their families. We will be operating on reduced hours over the festive period but if you need to contact us please send us a message and we will get back to you as soon as we can. The office will be back in regular operation from the 6 January for the January holiday program. We still have places available in both the LTS sessions and workshops if you are looking for a holiday activity.

20.01.2022 COVID-19 Re-open Update (reposted from app) We are currently trying to finalise plans for a re-open for all our Learn to Swim Lessons. We are still waiting for the guidelines to be finalised and clarified in relation to social distancing and the implications for all our Beginner to Intermediate students. At the moment we have constructed a plan for squad swimmers to return to some sessions, while adhering to the guidelines. Please see the app for further details.... We are aware that there has been a Sportsbag App error with the Squad Announcement. We have re-post it to the Notice section of the app and are working with the apps support to rectify the issue. We apologise for any confusion!

14.01.2022 Rod was very pleased to be able to pull back the covers this afternoon! With the recent amendment to the Step 1 restrictions we are now able to have 6 swimmers in the centre at a time for squad coaching. This has enabled us to start to get our more senior competitive swimmers back in the water a few times a week. Our governing bodies are working behind the scenes to get clarification on our next steps. As the NSW Government is yet to release a date and outline for Step 2 we... can not yet say when we will be able to expand to include more swimmers. When we receive further information we will pass it on as we are eager to see our swimmers back in the pool.

13.01.2022 Water Safety Week We have made some changes to water safety week for this term given the current events and water restrictions. During our intensive water safety sessions which will now be run during Week 10 (not this week as previous advised), we have made the decision to not do a clothes swim. We require a large amount of water daily to replace the amount of water lost from the pool due to the clothes and given we need every drop to fight these fires we have decided to pos...tpone this aspect of the sessions. The children will still be experiencing the deeper water, the safety talks and practising other vital survival skills. We greatly appreciate your support.

13.01.2022 In light of tonights COVID-19 "stage 1" announcement by the Prime Minister we have made the difficult decision to put our classes on hold whilst we seek clarification from our governing body. 12.01.2022 Term 3 classes started back today (Monday 22nd July). All squad sessions are back to the normal term timetable. Please ensure you check your card prior to attending swimming lessons, to ensure you know the correct class details as they may be slightly different to last term. Seahorse parents be sure to check out our new heaters that have been installed at the Orielton Road end of the teaching pool. These operate in the same manner as the baby change area heaters. Term Dates: Monday 12th Oct to Saturday 19th Dec Please fill in an enrolment form on our app. Deposit payments for Term 4 are operating a little differently due to the number of customers with credits and the reduced availability we have in line with safe capacity limits. 10.01.2022 During the April Holidays Atlantis will be running transition classes and Learn to Swim classes in the mornings from Tuesday 6th of April to Friday 9th of April. Learn to Swim $15 per class If you are interested in enroling you child please let us know by submitting the Expression of Interest Form. Once class placements are finalised you will be contacted to confirm the classes and payments can then be made.

10.01.2022 We were very please to see our morning swimmers back in the pool this morning for the first sessions of lessons for Term 1. Just a few COVID safe reminders; Please arrive a few minutes earlier than you would previously to 'Login' to Service NSW using our COVID Safe QR code and confirm this with our reception staff. ... 1 parent spectator for learn to swim and private lessons and no squad spectators from development and up. Seahorse (baby classes) only allowed 1 spectator to watch plus 1 parent participating. We understand the disappointment of extended family members being unable to watch but we are governed by NSW restrictions. We revise our plan as the restrictions are updated and look forward to see our swimmer show off their skills to their extended family members as soon as it is safe to do so.

We would like to provide an update on the actions we are taking to mitigate risks as they relate to our operations and our customers. We will never knowingly put the health of our students, our customers, their family or our staff at risk. The NSW Health website currently states (as at 11.00am Sunday 15 March 2020):... The advice on mass gatherings does not apply to attendance at schools, universities or child care centres. While all Australians are encouraged to exercise personal responsibility for social distancing, there are no current restrictions recommended on attending other settings There is no current advice to avoid small gatherings or stop going to school, childcare or sport and recreational activities such as swimming lessons. We have enacted a plan for these challenging times and will be guided by advice provided by the Federal Government and NSW Health in relation to the current coronavirus (COVID-19) situation. 09.01.2022 The council and parking rangers have contacted the centre as there have been cars parking on the footpaths. The rangers are particularly concerned as it blocks the line of sight for cars, especially those turning and can lead to a serious accident. We have been advised that any car seen parking on the footpath will be fined. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

08.01.2022 Yesterday the NSW Deputy Premier announced Indoor Swimming Pools were able to open from 13th June with restrictions, however unfortunately they have not yet advised what these restrictions are. We have been told we will receive more information in the very near future. Please keep an eye on our app for more information!

06.01.2022 We are starting to see light at the end of the closure tunnel. Once we have received clarification from the NSW Government and our aquatic governing bodies we will be in a better position to share our return plans with everyone.
