17.01.2022 There has been much commentary on the recent raids on various Journalists and media entities, the most recent being the #ABCraids at their Ultimo offices in Sydney. Journalists themselves are now indignant about these raids and screaming blue murder and freedom of the press. There was one particular comment on social media comparing the famous quote by Pastor Martin Niemöller to the current raids. Pastor Martin Niemöller’s quote was ... First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out Because I was not a socialist. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out Because I was not a trade unionist. Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out Because I was not a Jew. Then they came for meand there was no one left to speak for me. The quote relating to the raids stated, Then they came for the journalists, and I did nothing because I’m not a journalist. Nobody knows what happened after that. When I read that quote, all I could think about was the hubris, hypocrisy and deception that a significant number of journalists and Media Entities displayed over the last couple of decades when it came to Islamic Terrorism. They were the enablers and facilitators of spreading Govt propaganda about Islamic Terrorism, inciting hatred and manufacturing consent amongst the general population that WE as a society must relinquish hard won rights in order to wage a War on Terror. Against all hard facts about the incidence of Islamic Terrorism in Australia, and terrorism in general. The Main Stream Media at the time, never explained to the general public why we needed harsher laws taking away peoples rights, BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY the Main Stream Media NEVER explained to the public what the actual deficiencies were in the existing laws at the time. The main stream media were happy to go along with the Govt’s fear mongering tactics and strategy and now that they themselves have become targets they are screaming blue murder. The current Govt is more concerned about finding the whistle blowers and covering up Australian war crimes as opposed to providing proper Justice to the victims of these war crimes. When you have information from eye witnesses that belong to the same unit where the persons of interest committing the war crimes comes from then at the very least there should be a full and transparent inquiry, with the offenders / suspects being brought before Military Courts. So, in reality the Pastor’s quote which was bastardised in social media should start with, First they came for the Muslims and I did not speak out, because I was not Muslim. It’s a bit rich for the media now to hide behind noble causes like Freedom of the Press when they were participants in manufacturing consent in order to pass these very laws which they complain about. 14.01.2022 We just recently came across an article drafted by Ugur Nedim Principal of Sydney Criminal Lawyers on a Face Book site Australian Lawyers for Civil Liberties (which we believe is run by Sydney Criminal Lawyers but we are open to correction) in this article Mr Nedim parrots the misleading and deceptive representations made by Main Stream Media in regards to the recent speech made by The Republic of Turkey's President Mr Erdogan. In order to clarify the speech one would need t...o obtain the full speech and have an accredited independent translator translate the entire speech. Some of the quotes mentioned are correct but are taken selectively out of context. In order to fully understand the text BUT more importantly the context one needs to look at the speech in it's entirety. When these issues were pointed out to Australian Lawyers for Civil Liberties we were informed that Mr Nedim was Turkish and that he watched the speech himself. That being the case then one can only infer that Mr Nedim is also a party to the misrepresentations of Mr Erdogan's speech. Then our comments on that site were deleted. We are not suggesting that Mr Erdogan did not state the quotes attributed to him, what we are suggesting is that those quotes have been selectively attributed to Mr Erdogan without providing a full context of the actual speech. As far as we are concerned for the best part of two decades the LNP has been pivotal in the spread of anti Muslim sentiment and in fact we would suggest incited hatred against Muslim citizens of Australia, this form of misrepresentation by Main Stream Media of Mr Erdogan's speech only goes to further that anti Muslim sentiment in fact the hatred of Muslims in general. I would urge those interested in the full truth not finely calibrated half truth's to obtain the full text of the speech and have it properly translated into English. If so what sort of investigation did the Police do? Why did it take The Age to air the footage before any real investigation was made? Further still what was the statement made by the Police Officer in the Brief of Evidence as well as other officers concerned? Was there an attempt to mislea...d the the court or to pervert the course of justice. You see the officers working with this Police Officer who was charged are just as guilty as he is for not reporting him in the first instance. We appreciate it is a very difficult position for those working with him reporting him, because of the "Thin Blue Line" However, until that line is broken and honest Police start reporting offending Police Officers nothing will change in Police Culture. Even when innocent, the system around Australia is geared in a way that if the Accused person proves themselves to be innocent, they never recover their Legal Costs. Speaking primarily of those people who engage private Legal Practitioners. Most people don't care until they or one of their loved ones becomes the victim of injustice, but by then it's too late. 02.01.2022 There was a rally organised today at St Kilda beach by a group of Fascists. The various State and Fed Authorities are either incapable or unwilling to enforce the requisite laws i.e. "Terrorism" against the Fascist extremists, which they are all too ready and willing to enforce against Muslims, (I remind you of the cases of Dr Hanneef, and PhD Student Mohamed Nizamdeen) on the flimsiest and the most spurious of evidence they had. Yet the likes of Cottrell and Erickson and t...heir organisations get away time and again regardless of the breaches they commit. We all know what Terrorism is as defined by Commonwealth law reproduced in the link provided below, we know what the specific offences are, and dare I say in my humble opinion both Erickson and Cottrell have breached those laws. The evidence is in documentary form all over the internet. I attach another link which goes deeper into explaining Australia's Terrorism Laws. If the various authorities wish to enforce the laws inconsistently i.e. disparity in enforcement, thereby creating a two tier system, then perhaps it's time that "Private Prosecution" was arranged and funded so that a Jury of peers in the Supreme Court of Victoria can decide on guilt or innocence of the individuals and organisations involved in breaching the "Terrorism Laws." We have all heard that ASIO is monitoring these Fascist groups closely, well that does not offer any kind or comfort or security for the public. Remembering the incident quite some years back where one Fascist murdered his own brother at Kogarah NSW, whilst ASIO was conducting surveillance on them recording the murder as it happened. The current crop of Fascists are just as dangerous if not more so, it's only a matter of time before an innocent person or persons are going to be either killed or seriously injured by their continual incitement to injure people. An organisation should crowd fund a private prosecution using the best legal minds in the profession to convict offenders. The least of which can be done but hasn't is that Victoria Police could issue notices under the "Unlawful Association" legislation for both Cottrell and Erickson who are both convicted offenders.
