"We respect the Geelong Football Club very much, but if Matthew Primus, Domenic Cassisi and Travis Boak were to bowl into Geelong to meet with Joel Selwood, I am sure Brian Cook, his players and supporters would feel more than a little disrespected. "Subtle conversations are one thing, but arriving with shiny buttons and... a brass band is quite a different matter. "We will keep talking to Travis and we remain very comfortable with where our discussions with him are placed."
