22.01.2022 Today is International Day of People with a Disability (IDPwD) which aims to increase public awareness, understanding and acceptance of people with a disability and celebrate their achievements. We stand by our vision to enhance people’s lives by delivering quality learning accessible to all. The national average of tertiary vocational students with a disability was approximately 4.3% in 2019. At Atwea College, in the same year, we had over 37% of students that were self-ide...ntified as students that were studying whilst managing a disability. We would like to take the opportunity today to celebrate all of our students with a disability for all the hard work they put into their studies. To find out more about IDPwD, see here: https://www.idpwd.com.au.
